Marabelle's PoV:

Ever since I had confessed my secrets to Bree... my life feels happier. I have stopped wearing strange dresses... and now I'm wearing normal ones that Brianna helps me pick out. Today, she said that we were going to talk to Krista... and she also said that I need to do this cause Krista's a valuable friend to have. I had agreed, and she texted a pic of what kind of dress I'm wearing (shown above).

I get ready to meet Krista, and after putting on some light makeup (finally!) I open the door and walk outside. I stride out to immediately come across Brianna talking to the prince. She's motioning with her hands and licking her lips a lot. "Must be nervous," I think.

Bree seems to sense my presence, and she pivots to see me staring at them wide-eyed. "Oh, hi Mara!" she greets, leaving Evan to talk to me. "I'm sorry did I interrupt something?" I ask, glancing at her and then at Evan, then back at her. She looks at me in the eye, wondering if I'm lying or being sarcastic. When I don't do anything, she smiles and shakes her head. "No, you didn't interrupt a thing... I was just explaining to him what happened last night," she calms me. Evan looks at me and gives a small grin.

"I'm glad to be able to know the real you," he states. I walk over and he reaches out his hand, waiting for a handshake. I tentatively put mine out, grasping his hand lightly. "I don't bite," he laughs. "So we're on good terms?" I ask. "Yes... however you need to earn my trust," he compromises. "Fair enough," I agree, and soon I am meeting with Krista.

"Hey," she puts her arms across her chest, still unsure about me. "Hey," I motion to the bench, "Can I sit?"

"Sure... why not."

"I'm sorry..."

"'Bout what?"

"About being rude..."

"Yeah- you should be..."

"Did Brianna tell you?"

"Nope... I have no idea what you're talking about right now," she admits. I quickly explain everything that I said yesterday to Brianna, and soon, she's giving me a warm smile. "I didn't know, Mara... I'm so sorry," she hugs me. At first I feel awkward, but then accept her friendly embrace. "So- we're friends?" I ask. "Definitely," she laughs, and stands up. "Coming with me or just staying here?" she wonders, holding out her hand. "Coming with you," I grasp her hand and we walk over to Bree, who links arms with me.

They both look at me and that's when I realize that I just changed. I faced my fears and I feel so much better now. My two friends who will stick up for me, not judge me, not do anything harmful to me have just turned my world right side up.
