Without questioning Leo, the new Turtle nodded her head and walked into the main room, sitting down in front of the TV. The rest of us sat on the couch. Naomi came up and stood behind us, crossing her arms and transferring most of her weight to one leg.
Leo started the questionnaire, “Let’s start with your name.”
“My name’s Natasha.” she answered. “Natasha Ochs.”
Then we introduced ourselves, Mikey going first, “I’m Michelangelo, but everyone calls me Mikey or Dr. Awesome.”
Raph slapped him upside the head. “Yeah, right. Just keep with Dr. Prankenstein. I’m Raphael, but just call me Raph if that makes you happy.”
“Well, Raph,” Leo turned to him. “You’re allowing a complete stranger to use your nickname?”
“Yeah.” Raph nodded. “I let Mikito and Naomi use it.”
Leo shook his head then said, “I’m Leonardo. The leader of this entire group. But Leo for short.”
“Like the lion,” Natasha nodded. “I’ll remember that.”
“I’m the smart one,” Donnie waved his hand. “Donatello, or Donnie for short.”
Then it was the girls’ turns. Sophie went first, “I’m Sophia, but everyone seems to call me Sophie.”
“I had a friend name Sophie.” Natasha smiled. “She was nice and funny.”
“Totally the opposite with this one,” Donnie muttered.
Naomi came up and slapped Donnie upside the head. “Oh, hush, Donnie.” she turned to Natasha. “Name’s Naomi. I’m usually the leader of the girls, but you don’t have to. I still listen to Leo, but the other two usually listen to either of us.”
Sophie and I nodded and then I waved, smiling happily. “I’m Mikito. Not really much to say except I’m really fun to hang around.”
After we all went, Naomi left, going to her room, leaving us alone. Then it was April and Olivia’s turn. They explained a bit about themselves.
“Oh,” Raph added. “A little heads up with Naomi.” Natasha nodded, looking at him. He continued, “She reads and controls minds, then she predicts the future.”
“She’s a fortune cookie in other words,” Donnie summed up.
Natasha widened her eyes a bit, “Wow, a mind reader? And a mind controller? And a fortune teller? Is there anything she can’t do?”
We all thought about it, even looking at one another for an answer. Sophie gasped, “There was that one time she couldn’t read Shredder’s mind.”
“Oh, yeah…” we all muttered.
“And then she lost to Splinter.” Sophie added.
We all snickered.
“Who’s Splinter?” Natasha asked.
Leo smiled and stood up, offering a hand, “Excellent question. Let me take you to him. He’s our Sensei.”
“Sensei, huh?” Natasha asked, taking Leo’s hand and getting up. Sophie behind Leo sorta grew a little mad in the face. “I’d love to meet him.”
“I’m right here,” Splinter’s voice said coming in. “You are new?”
“Natasha,” she bowed respectfully. “Nice to meet you, Master Splinter.”
“You show excellent respect,” Splinter observed. “Have you had a previous Sensei?”
“Hai,” Natasha nodded. “Showed me some ways of the ninja when I was young.”
