I was on my way to the facility, just finishing off the roach again for the second time when he jumped in my way again! Revving the Stealth Bike’s engine, I said, “This is gonna be really cool, or really painful…”
My speed increased and before I knew it, I ran over that disgusting cockroach and flew into the Kraang facility without any Kraang bots shooting at me. Thanks whoever was at my weapon station…
Getting out of the Stealth Bike, I groaned, “Okay… I guess it was both.”
Looking up, I saw the drill and how far it was in the crust already. Granted Donnie knew more about this than I did, but I still try. I started running at the drill, climbing up the circular thing.
When I reached the top, I looked around for a chance to stop it when that cockroach showed up again, this time with black tire marks planted on his skin.
“Oh, you gotta be kidding me!” I groaned, looking at the sky before back at the roach. “Alright, buddy, I kicked your butt twice already, and you wanna go for round three, huh? Well come on!”
I threw my helmet at him, but it bounced right off and flew in the sky. So I decided to tackle him and he took me in the air. We fought, but not like the ninja training I knew, so it was a little more difficult.
Then the drill started moving, so I had an idea. I ran to try and keep up with the drill and then I took the lens out and pointed them at the roach, “Drill this!”
It hit the roach and he exploded. Quickly, I pointed the lens at the drill’s legs and it fell down. By this time, my helmet was coming back, so I grabbed it from mid air, also jumping down from the falling drill.
The Stealth Bike was still laying down so I grabbed it and drove up to the Shell Raiser as Leo backed it up and drove off. I came up and brushed some extra roach goop off.
“Wow,” Natasha said. “You made the roach explode…”
“You are seriously twisted…” Sophie added.
Leo turned around a little, “Didn’t I say that once?”
“Yeah,” I nodded, sitting down. “Before we met any of you girls.”
We drove to the lair in silence. When we parked the Shell Raiser, Donnie started working on the Raiser to get it working again. I, on the other hand, needed something to punch because this adrenaline was making me excited.
“Well, Raph,” Leo said as I was hitting the practice dummy. “You saved the city and faced your fear. Not bad for a Wednesday.”
I turned on him. “Faced my fear? I conquered my fear!” Mikey and Mikito were the nearest to me, but I learned from Naomi not to bother Mikito, so I took Mikey and put him in a head lock. “I looked my fear in the eye and zapped him to oblivion!”
“Woooow,” Mikey awed, so I dropped him. He stood back up before Mikito could even come forward to help him, “So you’re not afraid of cockroaches anymore, huh?”
Shaking my head, I said, “Nope.”
“Good, good,” Mikey said a little creepy. “Then you won’t mind the one I just slipped inside your shell?”
I froze from fright and then started running around screaming my head off. I didn’t even hear everyone laughing at me until Naomi came up and had me run into her. On the ground, I was jittery and rolling around like a dog with a dead animal.
Lightly, Naomi set her foot on my front shell, which calmed me down. Her blue eyes looked into my green ones and she blinked once. It reminded me of last night when she was acting like Mikey. What she said to me… I’ll never forget.
“There is no roach, Raph,” she said, getting her foot off of me. Offering a hand, I took it and stood up, brushing myself off.
Instantly, I looked at Mikey who was laughing with both Natasha and Mikito. He must’ve heard me not screaming anymore because he stopped laughing and looked at me. It was creepy that him and Naomi had similar eyes.
“Mikey!” I shouted, running at him.
Mikey got up and started running for his life. When I finally got him, I made him say how awesome I was before we came into the main room.
“Where’s Naomi?” I asked. Everyone looked around. Except Mikito which made me wonder. “Mikito? Where’s Naomi?”
“She, uh, heh… left…” Mikito said finally.a
