Dreaming… It seemed nice most of the time because it usually involved Mikey or my pleasant past. Before I knew all I know now…
Naomi was walking past me while looking at me. She seemed a little less than perfect because her eyes seemed clouded and her attitude around her seemed off… We were on a roof, looking down at the chapel.
It was only us two. So far. It felt like we were waiting for others as well. Sure enough, another Turtle came into my sight, but she wasn’t someone I recognize. Then another one came. This one was Sophie. Behind her came another one and I really somehow recognized her, but at the same time I didn’t…
“Let’s go,” Naomi growled, jumping down.
We all followed Naomi down and then climbed back the walls using the hand held claws. We scaled quickly and silently. Finally, we reached the one little crack in the glass that was broken out.
Slipping through, we saw Shredder, Dogpound, Fishface, and even Karai. Reiley wasn’t there and it confused me.
The first new Turtle turned to Naomi and whispered, “I thought you said it was only Shredder?”
“I’m fighting Shredder,” Naomi snapped, turning to the Turtle. “Julie, you and Mikito will take Dogpound. Sophie with Fishface.”
“I’m taking Karai?” the second new Turtle asked.
Naomi nodded, “Yeah.”
“Then let’s go!” Sophie growled in anticipation.
Getting out our weapons, we jumped down and lunged at our opponents. I took Dogpound with the new Turtle Naomi called Julie. She used a Scythe with an extended handle.
After a while of fighting, I heard a scream and Julie had Dogpound on the ground, so I turned around and Naomi was slammed up against the wall by Shredder. Before I knew it, Shredder stabbed Naomi in the stomach with his blades.
Blood poured down Naomi’s shell as she glared at Shredder and went limp.
“NO!” I screamed, running up. Shredder turned to me and got ready for his own attack against me.
Sitting up quickly in bed, I was breathing hard, holding my heart. That was no dream… That was a nightmare.
Mikey came running in, “Mikito? You okay?”
“Yeah,” I lied, breathing out. “Why?”
“You screamed ‘no’ suddenly and woke me up…” he said, coming up to me.
“I’m fine,” I lied again, getting up.
He looked at me worriedly before hugging me. “You can tell me everything, Mikito. You know that, right?”
Shocked, I hugged back and nodded. “Yeah… I know…”
Pulling back, he looked at me. “Then if it was something you would like to talk about, I can listen.”
I shook my head. “I’m fine, really. It was just a nightmare. It won’t come true.”
Smiling softly he kissed me quickly, then pulled back. “Alright.”
A knock came from the door and we both turned around, me blushing like crazy. Raph stood at the doorway, one arm crossed while the other was up for the pose of knocking.
“We’re going up,” he said.
We nodded and he left. Mikey turned to me and I laughed nervously.
