But, with the Mutagen plan out of our heads, we went to the lair, Raph bringing up the subject about not loosing. We went through the subway tunnel as the entrance tonight. We high threed and laughed about our victory.
Leo was the first one in and he jumped down the steps saying, “My Kasowas were swingin’ and singin’!”
Raph slid down the handgrip, chuckling, “I was hitting the Foot like flies with my Sais!”
Natasha laughed and flipped over the steps, “My whips were clappin’ the Foot!”
I wanted to be next, so I did a cartwheel down the steps, which was hard, even for me and said, “Katanas were slicing up those Foot!”
Sophie patted my shoulder, “It’s hard for you huh?”
“Yeah,” I nodded. Sophie didn’t bother to do anything like the rest of us. Donnie was silent as well, looking worried.
Splinter came in, hearing us celebrate, “I see my lesson didn’t get through…”
“Ah!” we all cried, turning around to face Sensei.
“You did not learn from the lesson,” Sensei said. “So instead of fighting with different weapons, you will fight with no weapons.”
“What?!” we all exclaimed again.
“Yes!” Sensei snapped. “Now give me your weapons!”
Reluctantly, I gave him my swords, Natasha her whips, Sophie her Wakizashi, Donnie his staff, Raph his Sais, Leo his Katanas and Mikey his nun chucks. Splinter took them and turned and left without another word.
It felt lonely without my weapons… But we didn’t say anything about it. As I sat down on the couch by Mikey, Donnie’s T-Phone went off again. Of course I stood back up as everyone else came up.
Donnie put the T-Phone on speaker and Pulverizor said, “Inside spy to base. I have news.”
“Spit it out, Timothy…” Donnie drug out.
“Shredder has given two Foot members the privilege of mutating! And guess what! I’m one of them!”
All of gasped at the phone and Natasha cried, “Are you crazy! That’s not a thing to be happy about!”
“Who’s the other one?” Sophie asked.
“I think his name’s Kyoto,” Timothy answered. “But I’ve never met him. At least I don’t think so…”
“Look, we’re on our way,” Leo said. “You’re not mutating!”
“But this is my dream! To be like you guys!” Pulverizor said happily. “When I mutate, I’ll be all over the place, even defeating Shredder!”
“I’d like to see him try…” Natasha muttered.
“Oops… I gotta go, guys.” Pulverizor said, hanging up quickly.
“No!” Donnie cried. He put the T-Phone up and turned to Leo. “I’m going.”
“And we’re coming with you,” Leo nodded.
The rest of us nodded. Donnie nodded back and then we all went to the Shell Raiser, hopping in and driving off down the tunnel quickly. I sat by Mikey and he looked at the map, looking a little thoughtful.
“I’m hungry…” He finally said. “Leo, after this, can we get some pizza?”
“Not now, Mikey…” Leo gritted his teeth, driving a little farther.
“Foot at twelve ‘o’ clock!” Donnie cried.
Leo slammed on his brakes to not hit any of them. The few Foot motorcycles that were in the T-intersection quickly sped up or swerved to avoid being hit. Luckily, Leo didn’t hit anybody.
Turning the corner, Leo found Pulverizor on the back of a motorcycle tied up. Someone else beside him was in the same predicament. I looked at them worried through the screen, but as I did, Fishface turned around and drove right at us.
“Raph!” Sophie cried. “Hit him!”
“What do you think I’m here for? Decoration?” Raph snapped, grabbing the wheel to the weapon on the top of the Shell Raiser, trying to hit Fishface who was coming closer.
“You can be a good Christmas tree,” Mikey smiled, looking at Raph sideways.
Raph growled and turned to Mikey, firing the weapon. “You’re next when I take down Fishboy here.” he turned around and saw Fishface on top of the roof.
“He’s on the roof!” Natasha shouted.
“I’m right by you…” Raph growled, holding his hand to his ear where Natasha practically screeched in his ear. “I got this…” He climbed up the ladder and paused before screaming, closing the lid and falling down, headless.
Mikey and I screamed in shock and fear. Raph’s head popped out of his shell and looked at us weirdly, “Really?”
“You’re head was gone!” Mikey said.
“How were we supposed to act?” I asked. “Calm?”
“Get him off the roof, Raph!” Leo snapped at the wheel.
“Got it,” Raph said, going quickly back to his area and swinging the weapon around, whacking Fishface off the roof. “How do you like me now, Fishboy?”
Apparently, Fishface didn’t fall off because next thing I knew, I was falling over Mikey and Mikey on the ground. I looked up and everyone was topsy tuvy. Looking down, Mikey was blushing and bleeding a little on the top of his head. Noticing where I was, I blushed deep red and got up, wiping the blood from his head, only for it to spew more out.
Donnie was the first one out and as he opened the top, all I heard was Fishface call out, “So long, freaks!” then a motorcycle start and drive off.
“Have you seen yourself…? Sophie groaned from her position. She was upside down against the music equipment.
Everyone else finally filed out of the Shell Raiser. Donnie sighed and said, “One time, Splinter told me Pulverizor was my responsibility… I’m taking his word today.” he went over to the Raiser and popped the Stealth Bike off using a button. “I’ll meet you guys there.”
Donnie got on the bike drove off. The rest of us turned to one another. Leo summed it up, “Looks like we’re walking.”
“I don’t wanna walk,” Mikey whined. “I wanna get pizza.”
“Not right now, Mikey!” Leo snapped. “After all of this, maybe.”
“But I like pizza…”
“We know,” I said, patting his shoulder. “But right now, Pulverizor is more important.”
Mikey sighed and nodded, following everyone that left after Donnie. As we ran, I wondered if Naomi was going to be there or not…
