Fighting Naomi is NOT Fun

I brushed my hands off on my blanket and got up, walking in the main room. Everyone was packing and acting normal. Did they not get the dream? Or what was it? They looked up at me and then went back to work like they were expecting me to help.

Oh, yeah… We were fighting Shredder today and getting the missile launcher to take down the Kraang ship. I helped Mikey with the large water balloon launcher and a round metal ball that Donnie made.

“It shoots out electricity, Mikito.” Donnie explained as he saw me looking at curiously. “Whenever it hits something fast and hard, it sends out electric bolts.”

“Oh,” I nodded, setting it with the launcher stuff.

“We ready?” Leo asked.

“Looks like,” Donnie nodded.

Natasha and Sophie came in. They bid us good luck and then we left. Hopefully, everything would be okay.

We went to the docks, the place where I placed a few of those devices Donnie made us put to track the Kraang ship. We found a place to scout out Shredder. He was talking with a guy that reminded me of a pirate.

But as we jumped down to the scouting place, Raph made us step back and we looked over beside Karai and understood. Naomi was standing there with her arms crossed and facing the new guy.

Shredder and him were talking, so while they were talking, Karai left, leaving Naomi and Shredder along with some Foot with the pirate guy. As that happened, we got out the things to position it correctly.

Then Karai came back and Mikey was backing up with the metal ball in the launcher to shoot it at Shredder.

“You sure he can shoot this far?” I asked.

“If anyone can,” Donnie nodded. “Mikey can because he’s the one with the water balloon experience…”

Everyone waited as Mikey got his target aimed and then before he warned any of us, he let go, sending the ball straight at Shredder. Karai turned around and saw the ball, then pushed Shredder out of the way. Instead of hitting Shredder, the metal ball hit the tan car, electrocuting the pirate guy and some of the Foot.

And this entire time, Naomi didn’t do a thing. She just stood there with her arms crossed.

“This is scary…” I muttered, staring at Shredder then Naomi. “She’s not doing anything…”

“I thought she read minds?” Mikey asked.

As soon as he finished that sentence, Naomi turned her head around to look at us sideways. It made me gulp and back away from the edge. Her eyes were darker… She didn’t seem herself.

“Naomi!” Shredder growled and we all looked at one another. “After them!”

That made us gather our weapons and start running. Mikey was the closest one to the edge and Naomi had jumped up, growling. Mikey had tripped as Naomi’s staff swung by his feet.

“Mikito!” he cried. I stopped and turned around. Naomi was crouched like a tiger with her staff straight, still in the after position of swinging it. She slowly stood up and walked over to Mikey who was trying to get away.

I gulped as she looked at me with her navy blue eyes. They made me want to run, but I wanted to help Mikey. Mikey kicked at Naomi, but she jumped up and landed on him hard, making him cry out again.

Shaking my head, I turned and ran. Behind me, Mikey cried out again, then was silenced. I hopped Naomi didn’t kill him… There must be a still sane Naomi in her to make her not want to that.

I paused behind a large yellow metal box, trying to catch my breath. I wasn’t tired, just pure scared. Naomi’s eyes… She wasn’t controlling anybody’s mind, so why were that color?”

“Gah!” I heard Donnie scream a few feet away from me on the top of the boxes. “No, Naomi!”

Frightened, I took off again, reaching the docks, and I heard Raph start fighting someone before one of his Sais fell down from the top of a box. I looked up and not a movement was seen until someone jumped down, landing right in front of me.

Frozen, I slowly looked up at Naomi and she was staring at me. Her navy eyes like slits now. Her staff was in her hand, parallel to her arm like it mostly was when she was ready for a fight.

“Naomi,” I tried, backing up, my foot almost sliding down and me falling into the water. She walked toward me, twirling her staff slowly. “No, no, no! Naomi, stop!”

“Naomi.” a deep voice growled. She stopped and her eyes returned to the round eyes I’m used to, but still a deep blue. Shredder walked up. “Where are the others?”

“Defeated,” she said calmly.

“Well done. Now stand back. I want to get answers out of this one.” Shredder said, looking at me. Naomi nodded and stepped back, near the boxes again.

Shredder walked up to me and growled, “Where’s your Sensei?”

I took this literally, “She could be anywhere.”

“She?” Shredder questioned.

“Gah!” Naomi cried as the boys tackled her down. She growled, trying to get up. They kept her down, and Leo got out a missile launcher, aiming it at the Kraang ship and firing.

I didn’t notice Donnie yelling out that it came out, nor did I see the boys get up, or Leo leave for the launcher. The ship’s side exploded on the side and it started falling, only right for me. Thinking quickly, I jumped in the water, knowing I’d be safe.

The ship splashed into the water, the wave being so powerful, I banged against the dock’s wooden pole. I saw white and I surfaced. Karai was jumping in the water, Shredder was gone, and Naomi had gotten up.

She was looking at us all. I grabbed the dock for support as she walked over to me. Gulping, I tried to hide under the dock, but her foot caught my hand. Holding back a yelp, I looked up.

“Naomi!” I gasped. Her eyes were normal!

Smirking, she let my hand go then leaned down, helping me up out of the water. She didn’t say anything as her eyes darkened back to navy blue again. Her smirk disappeared and it scared me again.

Then a sharp pain in my head made me hold it. It made me go to the guys who were leaving. I followed them, looking back only as the pain left my head and Shredder and Karai were coming up, Shredder holding a Kraang.
