(Erik's POV)

I covered Sarah's eyes as I walked her to the house. Then on the count of three I lifted my hands up.

She gasped as she looked at the beautiful two-story house. "I love it!" She said as she turned to hug me tightly. I hugged her back and smiled. "Isn't it like father's?" I asked.

She nodded quickly and said, "It perfect. What do you think, Mother?" She asked.

My mother walked up and smiled as she saw the house. "It's lovely."

Sarah picked up her suitcase and walked towards it. "Let's go! I'll get supper started."

I smiled and in an instant picked her up and carried her over the threshold of our new home. She giggled and wrapped my arms around my neck.

I laughed. "I always wanted to do that." I said as I placed her back on her feet.

"To me in particular or to your wife in general?" She asked, curious.

"I just always wanted to carry my wife over the threshold." I said with a little shrug.

She grinned and kissed me, reaching for the mask and asking with her eyes if it was okay for her to take it off.

I shook my head and moved away. "I'm going to get the luggage." I said as I walked past mother.

She nodded and sighed slightly in disappointment. "Alright. Mother and I'll get started on supper." She said. I sighed as I walked outside. First I lead the horses to the padlock to graze and then I started carrying the luggage into the house.

(Sarah's POV)

I walked around for a moment and soon found the spacious kitchen. "Well, what do you want for supper?" I asked Mother.

(Mother's POV)

I followed her into the kitchen. "It makes no difference to me." I enjoyed cooking. No matter what it was. "Why don't you start putting our things away and I'll cook?" I asked. I wanted to cook for my son and daughter.

Sarah smiled. "Thank you. I'm not that good of a cook."

"It's alright. You'll get better." I smiled at her and then began making supper.

"I lived alone for so long, I never saw the need to cook large meals." She said as she began to put some things away in the cupboards.

I nodded as I prepared my vegetables. "What happened to your family, dear?"

She sighed. "My father died of a heart attack and my mother died in an accident. I don't have any brothers or sisters and no close relatives."

"You have Erik and I now." I said softly as I moved from my work to give her a motherly hug.

Sarah hugged me back and nodded. "So I do. And, who knows, maybe in a few years, children." She blushed slightly and grinned.

I smiled at her. "Why a few years?" I asked as I went back to work.

She shrugged. "Give us time to get settled. Besides, Erik and I haven't really talked about children yet. We kinda danced around the subject."

I nodded. "Even I don't know his opinion on children."

"He seems to adore Reza but it is different when the child's yours." He said.

"I agree." I said softly as I placed my chicken in the oven.

She sighed thoughtfully and finished putting everything away in the kitchen. She settled down in a chair. "Erik will probably be worried about the child looking like him." She said.
