Chapter Four

GEORGE's POV

Maaga akong nagising at dumiretso sa kusina para makakain na. To my surprise napaaga rin pala ng gising si kuya Greg at mukhang bihis na bihis.

"Ang aga mo, kuya? Anong meron?"

"Ah, oo. May lakad kasi kami mamayang 8:00 sharp."

Business matters, I guess.

"Oh? Saan din?"

"Actually business retreat namin. So hindi ako makakauwi bukas o makalawa. Dito ka lang sa bahay. Pwede mong papuntahin sina Amber at Zeke dito as long as na wala kayong gagawing----" I cut him off. I know where is this going.

"Kuya!!!" I hissed.

"Just saying!" He said with both hands up.

I heard his watch beep. This might indicate that he should get going. It's already 7:14 in the morning.

"Oh, shoot kelangan ko ng mag-asikaso. Ang bilin ko, George ah?" He went over to me and kissed me on the forehead. Then he rushed off to his car.

Pagdating ko sa school, automatically my tunnel vision was on.

You know what I mean.

I dropped my bag unto my armchair and was about to finish something important---well, my homeworks, actually---when I realized I forgot my pen in my house.

"Crap." I cursed in my head.

Lumabas muna ako papuntang cafeteria para bumili ng ballpen. Ng mabili ko na, tumakbo na ako pabalik. I was about to turn to my left and when I did, I collided with someone and fell to the ground.

THUD.

That hurt.

"Hey!!" The guy said in a loud voice.

"Woah, you alright man?" Sabi ng kasama nito.

Hindi ko siya makita dahil nasisilawan ang mga mata ko. Tumayo ako para malinaw na makita kung sino ito--- ay anak ng pitumpot tikbalang!!!

"IKAW???!!" sabay naming nasigaw. Anak ng----sa lahat na lang ng lugar!

THIRD PERSON's POV

George can't believe it. It's the same guy he had bumped into yesterday. Mapaglaro nga naman ang tadhana at pinagtagpo ulit ang malas nilang landas.

"Hey, JB. You know this kid?" sabi ng kasama ni JB. Litong-lito ito ba't sila magkakakilala.

"No I don't. It just happened that this clumsy midget bumped into me yesterday. He's just a nobody." JB said in a sassy way.

Agad na uminit ang ulo ni George. Unang-una: tinawag siyang bata. Pangalawa: tinawag rin siyang tanga. Pangatlo: tinawag siyang pandak.

"Hoy! Sinong tinatawag mong tanga ah?!! If I may not be mistaken mister, you were the one who bumped into me first!"

"Woah!! Me? Is it my fault why you're so clumsy when you know I'm heading towards your direction?"

"Oh yeah? Well how would I know you're heading straight into my direction when you could've swerved to avoid hitting me?" George said, challenging him.

"Hey, bro. I think this kid's challenging you. Haha." Bulong ng kasama ni JB na mukhang naaaliw sa dalawa.

George overheard this and glared at the guy.

"Crap. I'm not in the mood to fight with a loud and obnoxious version of Tom Thumb. Let's get outta here, Xavier." JB said and walked pass to George leaving him with his jaws open.

What the fuck??!! Did he just dissed my height???! I'm freaking 5" 4 for God's sake!! Sigaw ni George sa kanyang isip.

"Hoy! 5" 4 ang height ko kaya wag mo akong tatawaging Tom Thumb!!"

JB turned to him and said,

"Well, I'm 5" 9 so you're still Tom Thumb to me. Magkano lang ang Cherifer sa pharmacy kaya laklakan mo ang isang bote. Get lost!" He said for the last time.

Holy shit.
That dickhead! Jerk! Wanker! Son of a bitch! THAT SKUNK!!! UGGH!!

I'd rather call him SKUNK--- kung magkikita ulit kami. Uggh!! Erase erase!! Ayoko ng magkikita pa kami! Nabubwiset ako sa ugali niya! Sobrang yabang! Ang kapal ng pagmumukha! That asshole is getting into my nerves! I wish he would just disappear!

George continued to curse in his mind as he went back to his classroom, only to be interrupted by Amber and Zeke.

"Oh? Anyare sayo?! Agang-aga galit ka na. Chillax bro!" sabi ni Zeke.

George angrily stomped his way to his armchair and finished his homework in vain.

"Anyare dun?" tanong ni Zeke kay Amber. Both are confused with George's sudden anger.

Amber shrugged in response.

Sa susunod na pagkikita naming yang JB na yun, ay ewan ko lang!! George thought.
