Aggele Mou's eyes were bright and very angry while she stared at Amber.

I could understand her jealousy; I do look pretty hot, and Gabriel gave me his own seal of approval after he forced me into a change of jeans before we came into this classroom.

The others were not aware of what Saxon had requested of me—except Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green of course. Saxon said I could tell them after I had completed the mission though, and I did as quickly as possible.

To say North wanted my head on a stick would be a joke. Even though he is a brother to me, I could tell I had really gotten to him with what I'd done but honestly, it worked.

Even as she glared at me from across the room, I felt a little pride in myself for getting her here.

She would probably hate me until I could explain better, but at least we had her in one place where we could talk to her without anyone in trouble.

Mr. Blackbourne was personally watching all of the cameras around the school and would handle any issues that would arise until we could get Sang to talk to us. Victor had even worked his magic and Sang shouldn't receive any texts or calls from her followers for the time being.

"Sang, old business first. Then we can discuss new and upcoming issues. Lastly, personal issues regarding you and us can be discussed, if you're willing, afterward and we can move the conversation to the nurse's station where Mr. Blackbourne and Dr. Green will meet us." Kota addressed Sang with command full in his tone. She did not reply but her shoulders seemed to sink in as if the weight of his order had landed on her as easily as it did for us after years of trusting him to do right by us.

Sang's glare fell on me again, and I sighed before giving a small shake of my head and silently telling Kota that I think we needed to clear our air before she would take part in anything else.

Kota nodded back and turned to Saxon, an older member of the Academy but his team was busy with other missions and he was the only one available to join us on this mission. He'd seemed to jump in head first and was determined to do what we came here to do as soon as possible if the favors he offered me were any evidence.

"Mr. Saxon, we'd like to speak with Sang privately first."

Saxon simply raised an amused eyebrow, looked between Sang and our group, and asked us "You sure don't want a referee?" With a chuckle, he moved to exit the room amidst a grunt from North and snickers from Luke and Gabe.

Nathan made the mistake of walking towards Sang, hands outstretched and a smile beginning to take over his face. "Peanut, I've really missed you."

She stood still, not retreating but not opening her body language at all. Hands balled into tiny fists, and eyes shooting sparks at the incoming boy, Sang looked the epitome of a fiery Greek goddess. I felt my pants getting tight and knew I would enjoy making her frustrated in the future. But only when she was not in danger any longer.

"I'm not talking to you guys about anything personal with strangers present."

Her eyes did not waver from Nathan who had stopped moving towards her, but we all knew who she was referring to.

It was Victor who spoke up, "Princess, I'm not sure if you've been formally introduced. This is Amber Blackbourne," he emphasized her last name. "She is Mr. Blackbourne's younger half-sister."

I could see Aggele's curiosity poke out at the word "half" but I knew she would not show her palms just yet. I briefly paused to think if that was the right expression. It would be easy to hate the American language; there were so many deviations and slangs and it all depended upon what culture you were in. You could easily you one phrase in one culture and then be insulting someone with the same exact phrase in another.

"I hear voices in my head. They talk to me, they understand, they talk to me!" I was startled from my thoughts as music suddenly was playing in the room and knew that was a signal.

We all moved to our positions as Saxon used his key to re-enter the classroom, Gabriel smoothly moving to tug at Sang's arm despite her statue-like movements. He drew her to a seat and Saxon immediately pulled out a piece of chalk and began writing on the board.

"What's going on--," Sang was shushed and Kota leaned towards her to whisper "Hendricks is coming. We'll explain more later. Promise."

I caught her eye and gave her a smile, knowing how much she liked my smile from the first time we'd met. If I was remembering correctly, she'd mumbled something like "his sun kissed skin tone, and broad arrogant smile...." I am Greek. I have reason to be arrogant.

Instead of returning the smile with one of her beautiful ones, Aggele's eyes dimmed into a stormy forest green and her face was turned to stare at the wood of the desk. I thought I heard her mumble something. But I hoped with all of my heart that I was mistaken.

Because if I wasn't, she'd said "Promises don't mean anything to you guys."
