Sang was in the cafeteria with her followers. It was a cramped space, not meant to hold all of the students at Ashley Waters. Even with just her and her followers there, some people had to stand up against the walls and some chose to lay out on the ground. She should've chosen the field.
At the moment, Sang was posted at the door, eyes cautious on the goings on inside, but even more cautiously searching for 7 heads. 9 to be honest.
Sang knew that those two would somehow show up here, especially if the other 7 had gotten her message. As she was sure Wil hadn't removed them from her followers group, when she group messaged everyone, they would've been alerted as well.
Was it wrong that part of her yearned to see them?
That part of her felt like balling up and crying, frustrated at her own ignorance in behaving the way she was? Maybe she truly subconsciously thought she was protecting the boys by keeping them at a distance. Her life would never be less complicated, likely not even after she graduated AW and went to college. She couldn't ask them to enter that kind of chaos willingly.
Not to mention, her emotions were all scattered and she couldn't focus on anyone specific boy. Her mind would conjure up baby blue crystals with a sexy smirk and artist's hands, and just as easily move to brown fire eyes with silky soft hair and elegance that charmed her inner girly princess. One second she'd be standing up straighter, tugging at her clothes just imagining liquid silver eyes gazing in her direction. And the next she'd be melting at the playful sexiness in chocolate brown eyes, the scent of sugar and vanilla assaulting her through the mental image.
Sang couldn't think straight for those guys. It was like her mind had split when she'd met them-into 9 equal slices-and each guy had poured himself into those cracks before they'd had time to heal.
She couldn't get them out.
But the worst part was that she wasn't even sure she wanted them out.
When the trickle of people entering the cafeteria slowed down to maybe 1 new person every 10-15 minutes, Sang decided to do her job. How she would when she had the guilt of starting this situation on her shoulder-and the absentee thoughts of where the heck the guys were-she didn't know, but she knew she had a duty to these people.
Standing on a table, she announced "I'm gonna need everyone to keep quiet just for a little while." When they'd seen Sang moving to stand on the table, some people had started going quiet and others followed their example so her voice was easy to pick up on.
A hand went up somewhere near the back and Sang briefly wondered when she started to seem like a teacher. Instead of voicing her thoughts, she smiled and said "Do you have a question?"
A male voice called out something, and Sang only knew it was male because it was deeper pitched than a female's would be. She regretfully shook her head. "I'm sorry I can't hear you. Could you come closer or maybe pass your question along?" Sang projected her tone.
