~Third Person P.O.V~

"Well isn't it my favorite girl in the world? Hey, boys, (y/n) is here!" Van yelled.

(y/n) waved at him. Levi followed slowly behind her, cautious of his surroundings.

"Hey, Van." (y/n) said while sitting on a bar stool. Levi sat next to her. "The usual."

Van glanced at Levi, then smirked at her.

"So who'd you bring along? Yer little boyfriend, I assume?"

"Shut up, he is just my captain."

"Oh I see. You're into men with higher ranks."

"Van!"

"Alright, alright I'll stop messin' with ya." he started to clean out a glass.

"What would you like, Captain?" Van asked Levi.

Levi loosened up a bit and sighed.

"I'll just have what (y/n) is having." he said.

Van hummed in response and started to make the drinks. (y/n) got up from her seat.

"Reason why I came was because I needed to get some of my stuff. Are my boxes still in the back?" she asked.

"Uh yeah. They're all the way in the back against the wall, so try not to trip on anything." Van told her.

She nodded and walked to the back of the bar. She went into the closet and shut the door behind her. Van watched her leave. He put a bottle of whiskey and a glass in front of Levi, and he leaned against the counter.

"So what's going on between you two? I know something is happening."

Levi looked up at Van and frowned.

"There is nothing going on between me and (l/n)." Levi said before taking a sip from the glass.

"Don't lie to us, son. I bet you like something about (y/n)." said the man sitting close by.

"He's right. Come on just tell us guys. Its not like we'll go snitch on you." Van added.

Levi took another drink. He was skeptical of the men's words, but finally gave in and decided to trust them with the information. If (y/n) trusts them, he can trust them as well, correct?

"Its her smile that catches my attention," Levi said. Van smiled and kept washing glasses.

"Yes, go on." Van said.

"Just to see her face like that makes me want to kiss her. I don't even know what comes over me, its just a feeling I can't even explain." Levi continued on.

"Its love."

Levi frowned in confusion.

"Love?" he questioned.

"Yes, sir." Van replied.

"But how? I'm not in love with one of my cade-"

"No, Captain, I assure you its love." Van gave another customer their glass of alcohol. "You may not realize it yet, but it will soon come you."

Levi drank more whiskey out of the bottle.

"Why doesn't she like to smile or laugh?" Levi asked Van.

Van sighed heavily and shrugged.

"Maybe its because she forgot how to."

He wiped off the counters and put the rag into his apron pocket.
