~(Y/N) P.O.V~

Everything hurt.

My body ached from the mental and physical abuse of fifteen years. My heart longed to kiss Levi, but they are watching my every move. They are suspicious about what I might do with Levi. I walked to my desk and started rummaging around through papers.

"I've brought you here today for confidential reasons, Captain," I said pulling out a stack of papers from under a folder. "As you know assassins are after me and my beloved husband. I want you to figure out who they are and stop them."

I turned around and handed him the large stack.

"Also," I pulled out a small letter from under a paper. "I want you to read this especially. It is very important."

Levi didn't change his stoic expression, and he nodded slightly.

"Anything else, Mrs. Floyd?" he asked with his deep, monotone voice.

I smiled and shook my head.

"That is it and nothing more. You are dismissed."

Levi left my office. I took a deep breath and sat down at my desk. The guards at the corner of my office were watching my every move, and they will probably tell Floyd what happened when they do their daily reports. I must do the right thing around them, or Floyd will hurt me again.

The abuse is horrid here. It is even worse than when I was first with him long back before I had my son. For example, if I talk to him in a way he feels like is disrespectful, he will take me down to our 'private chambers' and beat me until I have learned my lesson. Just to think about what he does in there makes me want to cry.

I heard someone enter my office, and I looked up to see that it was Floyd's brother. He was usually the only nice thing around in this dreary mansion.

"Mrs. Floyd, may I have a word?" he said with a serious tone. "Privately."

I frowned at his words, then I got up from my chair.

"Guards, please leave my office." I said.

The guards obeyed my words and left my office. Once the door was shut behind them, Gregori began to speak.

"(Y/N)," Gregori started. "Floyd is really on edge about this Captain Levi. He said you had a...past with him."

I raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.

"Floyd doesn't like the Captain. He thinks that he is a threat to you and your business."

"I disagree with you. Captain Ackerman is not a threat. He is a honest person that just wants to help."

"Honest person? You've only known the man for less than an hour and you say he is honest?!"

"Gregori, I've known him longer than an hour. I've known him for years."

"So its true that you two were lovers?"

"No, not lovers, Gregori. We just slept with each other that's all."

"That still isn't much of a difference."

I sighed and smiled at Gregori.

"I need to talk to my husband about this." I said before leaving my office.

I'm scared to even approach my husband. If I say anything wrong, to the private chambers I go. I have to discuss this matter with him carefully and convincing. I came to his door and took a deep breath.
