~Third Person P.O.V~

(S/N) witnessed his mother get taken by a masked man. He couldn't let them get away with her, so he ran as fast as he could to get her back. The masked man saw (S/N) running towards him, and he dropped (Y/N) so he could just finish off this kid.

He pulled out his rifle and used the butt of it to hit (S/N) straight in his gut. That didn't work, and; consequently, his unsuccessful move on (S/N) gave him a small concussion and a black eye.

"That's what you get for messing with my mom." (S/N) growled under his breath.

Even though (S/N) said his words under his breath, the man heard every word he said. 'Mom' was the word that alerted him. He knew about the kid (Y/N) had, but he though the kid had died. He had to report this to his boss.

After the dizziness went away, the man lazily got up and ran as fast as he could. He took off his mask to reveal red hair and a slightly tanned skinned face. His eyes were a sharp green, and the freckles on his cheeks were too hard to forget. The man found his horse, and headed off back to Wall Rose. He didn't let anyone notice that he was coming from the bloody massacre.

With anger filling his chest, he continued to go home. He was angry because the mission to capture Mrs. Floyd was another failure, and his boss won't be so happy that a handful of men were taken hostage by the Survey Corps.

For long hours, he rode deep into the forests of the rural parts Wall Rose and headed back home. Sweat covered his forehead in fear and nervousness. His boss will probably lash out at him, and he will probably be punished for his actions.

The man finally met with the dirt road leading to his home. He slowed his horse down from running to a slow walking pace. He pulled out a black cloak from his small pouch that was tied onto his horse. He put it on along with the hood over his head, so he can be able to hide his identity from people lurking in the woods.

He made it back to a large house. It was creaky and old, but durable enough to hold a little over thirty people. The man got off of his horse and slowly walked to the door. He went inside the house to find silence. It was an eerie silence, and it seemed like no one was here, but the man knew that it was unlikely that the house was empty.

"So you're back alone, huh?" said an old, harsh voice.

The man turned around and removed the hood from his head.
"Yes, but-" the man was interrupted by a slap to the face. He held his cheek and looked up into his mother's eyes.

"There is no excuse, Finn. You've failed me for the sixteenth time in a row!" his mother yelled. "I'd at least expect something more from my own son, but you're just a disappointment."

Finn felt hurt not just physically, but mentally. His own mother values the death of her former comrade rather than the efforts her son. Angry and sad tears brimmed his eyes, and Finn's mother frowned.

"You're a crybaby, too? Tch, I should of stabbed myself to abort you."

Finn's mother stormed back upstairs and left her son in a pool of loneliness. Finn looked back up at his mother, then he decided to say something to her.

"When I was beat down, the man that defeated me said that Mrs. Floyd was his mom."

Finn's mother stopped walking up the stairs. A creepy smile curled onto her face, and she looked back down at her son.

"(Y/N)'s kid is alive?" she whispered.

Finn frowned at his mother in confusion. His mother looked down at her son, and her smile grew wider.

"Do you know what this means?" she asked her son while storming back downstairs ecstatically.

"It means that I'm not a complete failure?" Finn asked her.

"No, you dimwit," the mother replied. "It means I can use (Y/N)'s son as bait to get her. Oh, this is perfect! After twenty years of patience, I will finally have my revenge on her."

Finn sat down in a chair near him. His mother paced around the room with a crazed look on her face.

"(Y/N), why did you leave us? You promised to protect us after Medina died, but you just got up and left with that old bastard. I will kill you, (Y/N). I will make you suffer along with everyone you care about."

The man looked at his insane mother as she mumbled on and on about Mrs. Floyd. Finn watched her rant about (Y/N). He didn't know how to react to her, so he left her to be.

Finn's mother is a little insane, yes? He looked at Ingrid with disgust in his eyes. How did he end up being the only child with her? Oh yes, he remembers now. His brother and sister ran away and decided to make a life somewhere other than with their mother. He was too afraid of leaving with his siblings, so he stayed with his mother only to be mentally abused by her.

Ingrid laughed with maniacal tone to it and leaned against the wall. She crossed her arms.

"Go find out when (Y/N) is performing for the barons. Find every bit of detail about it." Ingrid told her son.

Finn nodded and got up from his seat. He left in an instant. Ingrid's smiled slowly left her face, and tears formed and fell from her eyes.

"I will have my revenge, (Y/N). Like you told me before, Karma is a bitch. Karma is going to come back and hit you harder than you could ever imagine."
