~(S/N)'s P.O.V~

"The Scout Regiment is coming?" I asked excitedly.

"Yes! I heard Humanity's Strongest is coming to investigate on the assassins!" my friend, Ronald, told me.

I've been here for about two days, and I heard that the Scouts are coming to guard Mrs. Floyd. I haven't met her yet, but father told me that when the Scouts come, I'll be able to meet her. It's very exiting.

I was in the room cleaning, so when the Scouts get here it won't be a complete pigsty. Ron was putting sheets and blankets on the unused beds.

"I wonder if that titan guy is coming, too. I don't know, but it's just so cool to know that the Scouts are coming." I said.

Ronald nodded. I finished dusting the bookshelves and looked around to see if I missed anything. I didn't, so I sat on my bed and started to relax a bit. The Scouts should be here any minute now.

Since I'm here on the surface now, I've been really thinking about my mom a lot more than I usually have. I'm very excited for the Scouts to come because my mother is one of them. She could be here, and we can be reunited again. Will she recognize me?

Dad couldn't remember me, so maybe she forgot as well, but I can persuade her.

I pulled out the ring from my pocket. The steel still had the same shine as it always did, and the diamond didn't scratch one bit while it was with me. With this, she'll remember me in an instant.

The door opened to reveal my uncle, and he walked in with a happy attitude.

"(S/N), I have great news!" he said.

"What is the news?" I asked curiously.

"The Scouts are here. Commander Erwin sent five of his best soldiers to come help us end these assassins."

I smiled.

"That's great. Will they be staying in these barracks?"

"Yes. I'm glad you and Ronald cleaned this place up. It was a nightmare the last time I was here."

I got up from my bed.

"So since the Scouts are here do you want me to go to Floyd's office?" I asked.

"Yes, and quickly! His wife wants to make this small meeting quick!" my uncle replied.

I nodded and continued to leave the room. I headed down a long corridor to my father's office, and to be completely honest I am very excited to see the Scouts. Maybe my mother is with them, and we can finally be together again.

I got to the office and entered. I walked inside, and my dad looked over at me and smiled.

"Ah, (S/N)! So glad you're here." he said.

I nodded and stood next to a man with long, blonde hair. I saluted along with him. My dad was situating paperwork with another guard while we were waiting for his wife to join us.

I looked down the line of soldiers, and I saw one girl, but she wasn't my mom. Even though she wasn't my mother, she was very beautiful. She had strawberry blonde hair and hazel eyes. Her skin was like smooth vanilla, and she had a few freckles on her face. She also had a pretty nice bust because she was showing off part of it. I felt myself blush a bit. She was really gorgeous.

The others were men, and they looked very strong and experienced. They all had some sort of scar, whether it was physical or it was in their facial expression. The man with a cold, stoic look on his face told me that he has been through a lot. The guy next to him had bandages over his wrists and hands. The other with light brown hair had a few scars on his face, and the blonde haired guy looked about the same.
