I could smell the smoke of cigarettes come from my office as I walked down the hall. The heavy aroma of that and the sweet, rosy musk of (Y/N) intrigued me and I went inside my office.
It has been a few hours since (Y/N) and I got the news about training her son outside the walls, and I hope she understands. I don't want her to be stressed out, especially now after this kidnapping incident. I just want her to know that he'll be safe with me and the others.
"What do you want?" she said before coughing. She pulled the cigarette out her mouth and threw it out the window.
"You know this is my office, right?" I said to her before she threw out her whole box of cigarettes.
"Yeah," she said looking back at me, "When will you be leaving?"
"A few weeks."
(Y/N) raised a brow and leaned on the edge of my desk. She had this subtle frown on her face, I could see the age coming to her. The slight wrinkles, non-vibrant eyes, a broken smile...she showed signs of immense stress and sickness.
"Levi," she said. "What are the military police going to do with Melina?"
"She is actually scheduled to be executed tomorrow."
(Y/N) stayed quiet, then she slightly smirked.
"Good."
She slowly walked out of my office without saying anything else, and I was left with only silence to be my companion. I smirked at her last remark, and I shook my head.
"That bastard," I said to myself. "She knows damn well I was lying."

"(S/N), you have to keep your balance." I giggled as (S/N) tried to get back up from falling backwards on the practice lines.
"It's no use. I'll never be a great Levi Ackerman." he commented.
I leaned over and grabbed his hand, which was larger than mine. I pulled him up, then tried to let him keep his balance once more.
"Let's try this again." I told him.
"But I don't wanna." he whined.
"Well you have to. I thought you wanted to be like Heichou?"
"I do, but...I don't feel like putting the effort in."
I slightly laughed and rolled my eyes.
"Then you'll never be like him." I said. "No one will ever be like him...not even the people closest to him or even the stronger."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Heichou has his background, and what has happened to him in his past has made him the way he is. The stoic, serious man can't just always be that way all the time...the only person lucky enough to see his other side is your mom."
"Yeah, she has seen his other side if you know what I mean," (S/N) said raising a brow and smirking.
I cringed my nose and laughed, then I realized that (S/N) was keeping his balance.
"Oh my gosh!" I said. "You're balanced finally!"
"Really?" (S/N) said. He looked down at himself, then raised his brows in surprise. "I am defying gravity." he said putting his hands above his hips.
I started to laugh and glance around the area, and I caught a glimpse of Finn watching me and (S/N) laughing and doing whatever we were doing.
My smile slowly disappeared, and I let (S/N) down from the practice rope.
"Uh, tomorrow I'll put you on the real 3DMG gear, alright?" I told him.
"Okay," he said putting his hands behind his head as we headed off inside.
I looked where Finn was, and he turned around and left.
"Shit," I thought.
Last night was a warning. Tonight, I may have to cover up a bruise or so. Finn had warned me about talking to (S/N) but, I cannot help being with him. It just seems to happen. Heichou usually puts me and (S/N) together to work.
"Lauren, you alright?" he asked.
(S/N) stared at me with his (E/C) eyes, then made a face.
"Yeah, I'm perfectly alright..." I said with my words trailing with an uncertain voice.
"If you say so," (S/N) said. "I, uh, have to do something. I'll catch you later.
He ran off inside, and I grew a bit surprised, but I shook it off and smirked slightly.
"If you say so, (S/N)."

Well shit, how long has it been since I've updated this?
I don't know and I really need to get that motivation back to love Levi you know? I recently got a job and that's been taking up most of that free time, but lately I've been working on my dream book, Diamond Hearts.
I have been working on that one for a while, but I can't abuse this one or the other one....but I'm just a bad book mama.
I'm sorry bookies....I promise one day I'll get back to it but now is just like...I don't even know.
Throw me ideas, do what you want. I need help for this book really because I seriously have a huge writers block for this book.
But out of all my complaints, hopefully you enjoyed this shitty chapter and thank you so much for reading! Hopefully you have a great day/night!
