Chapter 19

(3rd PoV)
".. What are you doing here Gray-kun?" (Y/N) asked with a straight face.

"I came to talk to you Melo. But that can wait. Just change and meet me downstairs." Gray said as a blush went across his face. Without waiting for (Y/N) to reply, he left (Y/N)'s room, closed the door behind him, and went downstairs.

(Y/N) sighed and began to change into comfortable clothes.

(Your PoV)
'I'm really not in the mood for this. I already know what he wants to talk about.'

After I finished changing, I left my hair down, since it was already dry, and went downstairs.

I followed Gray's scent to the living room, seeing him look out the window.

'He looks so dramatic.'

I sat down on a chair that was touching the wall, while facing the couch. Gray sat down on the couch.

As I looked at Gray, I noticed that his shirt was off. I looked down at myself and saw that my shirt was off too.

Good thing I'm wearing an undershirt.

"Melo, we need to talk about earlier." Gray said.

"We have nothing to talk about. You know this." I said as I looked at Gray straight in the eyes.

"No. But I do know that you're being overdramatic over this." Gray said sternly.

I quickly leaned forward in my chair, "I'm being overdramatic? You're the one who gets mad over me wanting to repay you..!"

"I already told you that you don't have to repay me. But you keep saying that you had too..!"

"Because I did have to do it! Why can't you just understand that and let me be?!" I exclaimed as I shot up from my seat.

"I'll let you be when you understand that you didn't have to repay me!" Gray said loudly as he stood up.

"So never? Because I'm never going to understand why you won't just let this be."

"Melo, you don't understand-"

"Understand what Gray-kun?! Understand that if I do something for my nakama, it's reckless and stupid, but whenever Natsu does something, it's completely okay?!"

"Whenever Natsu does something, it's for everyone in the guild, not for just one person." Gray said as he approached me.

"But it was you Gray-kun! You were injured-" I began to say as I moved away from my chair and backed up.

"(Y/N), you could've died!" Gray said as he grabbed my arms forcefully and pushed me against the wall.

I flinched and avoided Gray's look.

"I didn't want to lose you. I didn't want go lose you over something reckless that you did." Gray said sternly.

"But I didn't die. This is nothing compared to what you put me through when you guys disappeared for 7 years.." I said quietly.

Gray tightened his grip on my arms, "You know I had no control over that."

"Of course I know. But when you guys disappeared, I didn't know whether you were alive or not. I couldn't go and see you, I couldn't go make sure how you were, I couldn't do anything!" I exclaimed.

(3rd PoV)
Immediately after (Y/N), said that, Gray pushed (Y/N) more against the wall and leaned into her neck.

"Melo, I'm here now." Gray said huskily as he loosened his grip on (Y/N)'s arms.

(Y/N) blushed as she shivered from Gray's cold breath.

"E-Exactly. I'm here now too. I'm not dead." She said quietly.

Gray sighed and pulled (Y/N) away from the wall, making him able to hug her.

(Y/N) immediately did the same, wrapping her arms around Grays neck.

"Are we good now?" (Y/N) asked.

Gray nodded,

"Yeah, we're good."
