Chapter 15

(3rd PoV)
"She's using lava?!" Everyone exclaimed.

(Y/N) smirked.

~10 minutes~

"Yeah! Go (Y/N)!"

"She beat Natsu?!"

"She's really strong.."

"Way to go (Y/N)!" Lucy and Wendy cheered.

"Can't believe you actually beat me.." Natsu said as he sulked.

"Good job Melo." Gray said as he came up to (Y/N) and ruffled her hair.

"Thanks everyone." (Y/N) said.

"Since you beat Fire-Face, how about you fight me?" Gray asked as he smirked.

"What..?" (Y/N) asked as she looked at Gray.

"You heard me. Fight me." Gray said.

"But Gray-kun.." (Y/N) began.

"No buts. You're fighting me. But we can do it later so you can restore your magic energy." Gray said.

(Y/N) sighed and shook her head, "I'm good. I didn't use that much magic energy."

"You sure?" Gray asked. She nodded and they both walked back to the their sides of the circle.

"You better beat Strippers ass, (Y/N)!" Natsu yelled, already happy.

(Y/N) rolled my eyes and looked at Gray.

"Are you sure about this Gray-kun?" (Y/N) asked. "I already said yes Melo. Are you scared to fight me?" Gray asked.

(Y/N) shrugged, "I just don't want to hurt you.."

"You won't be able to hurt me if you can't hit me." Gray said cockily as he smirked.

Everyone 'ooed'.

A tick mark appeared on (Y/N)'s forehead.

"Who says I won't be able to hurt you?!" (Y/N) exclaimed.

Everyone chuckled.

"Elemental Dragon Wing Attack!" (Y/N) chanted.

Gray dodged her attack and smirked.

"C'mon Melo. I know you can do better than that. You beat Flame-Head with magic stronger than this." Gray said.

(Your PoV)
'I just don't want to hurt you Gray-kun.. But you're being really cocky and that ticks me off.'

I took a deep breath and cracked my knuckles, "You want me to go all out? Fine."

"Rock Tornado!" I chanted. A tornado appeared out of thin air and headed straight for Gray.

Gray dodged it and covered his hands in ice. He quickly charged at me.

Just as he was about to hit me, my fists got engulfed in purple fire. I quickly blocked his punch, immediately melting the ice on his hands.

I took his legs of under him, making him fall.

Just as I was about to chant something, I slipped.

"What the-"

The ground was covered in ice.

'When did he freeze the ground?'

~30 minutes later~

"Elemental Dragon Roar!" I yelled.

The attack hit Gray full on since he couldn't move.

We were both exhausted. I was slightly surprised that he lasted longer than Natsu.

Once the dust cleared, I saw Gray laying on the ground with his arm up signaling defeat.

I stumbled towards him and kneed next to him.

I placed my hands over his wounds that were on his chest and began chanting a healing spell.

"Don't." I heard Gray say. He gripped one of wrists, making me stop chanting.

"But you're hurt, Gray-kun." I said as I looked at him with concern.

"You are too. And your magic energy is almost completely drained out. Don't strain yourself (Y/N)." Gray said sternly.

I flinched.

'Gray never calls me by my real name. He only calls me (Y/N) when he's being serious or he's really mad..'

I shook my head and looked back at his wounds.

'I inflicted these wounds.. I should heal them.'

"I gave you these wounds and I'm going to heal them." I said as my hands glowed again and resumed to heal Gray's wounds.

"(Y/N)-"

"No! I'm healing your wounds and you can't stop me!" I said loudly.

(3rd PoV)
Everyone looked at (Y/N) with a surprised look. They've never seen (Y/N) yell at Gray before.

Gray looked taken aback too. He then sighed and tried to push (Y/N) away. But she wouldn't budge.

After a few seconds, (Y/N) was done.

She was breathing heavily and she looked weak.

"There. I'm.. Done.." (Y/N) said as she swayed, then fell backwards onto the ground.

Since he was all healed, Gray quickly sat up and picked up (Y/N).

"You dummy. You overworked yourself and you drained out all of your energy.." Gray said as he stood up with (Y/N) in his arms.

"Gray-san! Take her to the infirmary and I'll heal her!" Wendy said as she ran up to him.

Gray nodded and he ran inside the guild and to the infirmary, with Wendy and the rest of Team Natsu behind him.

As Gray set down (Y/N) on a bed, he sighed and looked at her with a concerned look.

'You're still reckless as ever.'
