Chapter 27

(3rd PoV)
"You heard him folks! Sting is getting serious!" The announcer said.

The crowd cheered loudly.

Sting's hands glowed at he raced at (Y/N) with incredible speed.

(Y/N) was frozen from shock as Sting punched her, making (Y/N) fly back and hit the ground.

As (Y/N) stood back up, Sting attacked her again by kicking her harshly in the side, causing her to cry out in pain and skid and tumble back to the ground.

"You shouldn't talk smack if you can't do anything." Sting said as he walked towards (Y/N), with his hands glowing.

"Who said I was talking smack?" (Y/N) said as she stood up with her hands covered in rock.

Before Sting could even react, (Y/N) punched him on the cheek, sending him flying.

He stood up from the ground and charged towards (Y/N), with his fists still glowing.

(Y/N) and Sting were rapidly swinging at each other, causing everyone to just see a big blur.

Both of them managed to hit each other more than once, but they kept on going.

But the last punch Sting brought, sent (Y/N) skidding back.

"Damn perv.. Punching my boob.. That crap hurts." She mumbled as she recovered.

Sting lightly blushed as he realized what he did.

Gray was being held back by Natsu and Erza, since he noticed what Sting did.

"Elemental Wing Attack!" (Y/N) chanted as her attack raced towards Sting. But he dodged in right before it could hit him.

"White Dragon Roar!"

"Elemental Dragon Roar!"

Both attacks collided, making a huge explosion.

Sting and (Y/N) flew to opposite sides on the arena, hitting the wall forcefully.

Sting stood up as the same time as (Y/N).

"Time to finish this." Sting said as he smirked at the sight of (Y/N).

(Y/N) was badly bruised and scratched. More than Sting.

She wobbled for a few seconds but recovered.

"Holy Ray!" Sting chanted as a ball formed in between his hands.

"Rock Wall." (Y/N) mumbled as Sting's attack headed towards her.

But (Y/N)'s Rock Wall was no match for Sting's Holy Ray. His attack went straight through the wall and hit (Y/N) harshly.

(Y/N) cried out as she was thrown against arena wall again and fell onto the ground on her stomach.

She twitched slightly as she closed her eyes.

"It seems like (Y/N) is longer able to fight. So the fight goes to Sting from Sabertooth!" The announcer said, making the whole audience cheer excitedly and loudly.

"(Y/N)!" Gray yelled as he jumped into the arena, followed by Natsu, and ran towards (Y/N).

Gray carefully rolled (Y/N) onto her back and clenched his fists.

"She's badly injured.." Natsu mumbled as he frowned.

"We got to get her to Porlyusica." Gray said as he carefully picked up (Y/N) and ran out of the arena, with Natsu right behind him.

(Gray's PoV)
"Is she going to be alright?" I asked as I sat down in a chair next to (Y/N)'s bed.

The rest of Team Fairy Tail A and I were in the infirmary.

Porlyusica took care of (Y/N)'s injuries, while Wendy helped her.

"She's going to be fine. She'll recover in a day or so. If she were someone else, it would take more than a few days for her to heal completely. But she should be able to compete tomorrow or the day after." Porlyusica said as she wrapped a bandage around Melo's stomach.

I sighed in relief as I felt Natsu pat my back.

"Hear that? (Y/N) is going to alright." He said reassuringly.

I nodded and smiled slightly, then looked at Melo, "She's going to be upset about this though."

Everyone nodded.

"I know we haven't seen her battle anyone many times, but I know that (Y/N)-san rarely loses." Wendy said with a slight frown.

"We can worry about that later. Right now, we have to go back to our balcony place. I have a feeling that someone from either our team or Fairy Tail Team B will be up to battle someone again." Erza said sternly.

We all sighed.

'I don't want to leave her all alone here. She might wake up.'

"If she wakes up, I'll go and get you." I heard Porlyusica say to me.

I looked at her and nodded.

"Thank you." I said as I stood up and put on my shirt.

We all then left the infirmary, leaving Melo and Porlyusica.

'Please be okay Melo..'
