Chapter 41

(3rd PoV)

"Alicia! I turned everything off. Are you done packing?"

"Yeah! I'm coming down!"

(Y/N) stood at the bottom of the stairs with her suitcase next to her. Alicia emerged from the hallway and was walking downstairs with her suitcase.

"You have your toothbrush?" (Y/N) asked. Alicia nodded in response.

"Alright, let's go then. We're meeting everyone else at the train station." (Y/N) said as she grabbed the handle of her suitcase and walked towards the door with Alicia in tow.

"It's about time you guys got here. The train leaves in 5 minutes." Gray said as Natsu and Happy arrived. "Shut it Freezer-Boy!" Natsu yelled as he butted heads with Gray. "I'm not the one who got here late Pyro!" Gray shot back.

"Guys, cut it out." (Y/N) said sternly with an emotionless look. "Aye sir!" Natsu and Gray said in unison as they wrapped their arms around each other in fear. Once they saw that (Y/N) did nothing in response, they dropped their arms and glanced at each other. Just as they were about to say something to her, (Y/N) interrupted them.

"We should get on the train before it leaves." She said. Everyone nodded and they boarded the train.

"(Y/N)-san?" "Yes Wendy?" "Are you okay?"

(Y/N) gave Wendy a small smile before nodding, "I'm okay, don't worry about me." But Wendy didn't seem convinced and neither did everyone else. "(Y/N).." Lucy began. "We're just worried about you (Y/N)." Erza said as she and everyone else gave (Y/N) a concerned look.

(Y/N) looked at each of her team mates/best friends before looking down at her feet. "You don't have to be. I'm okay, I promise." She said softly.

"Stop saying that (Y/N). You aren't okay. You showed that yesterday after we went to the guild." Gray said sternly from beside (Y/N), making her tense up.

At that, Natsu started laughing loudly, causing Lucy to hit and scold him.

(Flashback to Yesterday)

-After (Y/N) asked Team Natsu about going with her-

A loud thump was heard throughout the whole guild as (Y/N) fell face-down onto the ground after she tripped over her own feet. "Are you alright Melo?" Gray asked as he helped his girlfriend up. (Y/N) nodded as she dusted herself off. She then walked off, leaving Gray with a confused look on his face.

-a few minutes later-

Various things could be heard falling onto the ground, along with (Y/N). "(Y/N) are you okay? Oh no, you cut yourself on a piece of glass..!" Lucy said as she helped (Y/N) stand up. "I'm fine Lucy. It's just a small cut." (Y/N) said, not even looking at the small cut that was on the palm of her hand. "Uh-uh missy. You're coming with me to the infirmary to get you a band-aid." Lucy said as she dragged (Y/N) to the infirmary.

After (Y/N) walked out of the infirmary with a band-aid on her cut, she walked down the stairs. She accidentally missed the last two steps and fell forward on her face. Again.

This time, it was was Wendy and Carla who helped her up. "Are you alright (Y/N)?!" Wendy asked frantically as she examined (Y/N) for any injuries. "You need to pay more attention (Y/N)." Carla scolded. (Y/N) nodded absent-mindly as she walked off.

As she walked around the guild in a daze, she repeatedly bumped into people, then mumbling sorry before continuing walking.

The worst thing happened when she got too close to one of Gray's and Natsu's daily fights.

"Watch where you're going idiot!" "You were in my way Stripper!"

Everyone around the two immediately moved. Besides (Y/N). "(Y/N) you're going to get hit!" Someone yelled, but (Y/N) didn't hear them.

Gray picked up a table as Natsu picked up two chairs. Just as (Y/N) walked in between them, Gray and Natsu threw the objects they had at each other, not seeing (Y/N). Since Natsu and Gray forcefully threw the objects at each other, they broke once they hit (Y/N). (Y/N)'s eyes widened as she was hit. She fell to the ground with a loud thud, along with the broken chairs and table.

"(Y/N)!!" Gray and Natsu yelled as they raced towards her. Everyone else in the guild, including Master Makarov, surrounded them. Master Makarov and the rest of Team Natsu went to the front of the group.

Wendy rushed towards (Y/N) and examined her. "She's already unconscious." Wendy said with a worried look. Gray whipped his head at Natsu in anger, "This is all your fault!" "No, it's your fault!" Natsu yelled back in anger.

Erza stood in between them as she gave them a very deadly glare. "The both of you are at fault! If you had been paying attention, you would've seen (Y/N)! You both know that she's been in a daze since of the news she got!" Erza said sternly and loudly. Gray and Natsu both looked down at the ground in shame. "You're right. I'm sorry Erza.." Gray said as he looked back up. Natsu did the same, "Yeah, I'm sorry too." "I am not the one you should be apologizing to." Erza said as she looked back at (Y/N).

(End of Flashback)

"That was yesterday Gray. I'm fine now." (Y/N) mumbled as her ears turned red from embarrassment.

"(Y/N) you could've gotten severely injured. You're lucky you only got a few bruises, scratches and no broken bones." Erza said sternly. "But it was also Natsu's and Gray's fault. They didn't notice (Y/N)." Lucy pointed out.

Natsu and Gray talked over each other as they kept saying sorry to (Y/N). "I said it was okay, stop apologizing. I'm the one who should be apologizing. Whenever you two twats are fighting, you don't pay attention to anything or anyone." (Y/N) said as she glanced up to Natsu and Gray with a slight smirk.

Gray and Natsu looked at (Y/N) in annoyance and slightly disbelief as everyone else started laughing.

"We're not twats!"
