Chapter 44

(3rd PoV)

"Yes! It's finally summer vacation!" Alicia shouted as soon as she stepped out outside.

"Alicia! Over here!" (Y/N) called as she waved over Alicia. Next to (Y/N) was all of Team Natsu. Alicia ran over to them with a bright smile on her face. "Hey guys. What are you all doing here?" She asked Team Natsu.

They all glanced at each other before looking back at Alicia. "We have a surprise for you." Gray said as he ruffled Alicia's hair. "But we'll tell you at the guild. If we tell you here, you'll cause a ruckus with your excitement." (Y/N) said.

"..You're joking."

"We're not joking."

"..."

"..."

"I'M JOINING TEAM NATSU?!"

All of Team Natsu covered their ears as they nodded at Alicia.

Alicia started to jump and cheer around the guild in joy. "I'm joining Team Natsu! I'm joining Team Natsu!" She chanted and yelled.

"I told you guys that she would be like this whenever we told her." (Y/N) said with chuckle.

Natsu got on top of one of the tables and yelled, "We got a new member on Team Natsu!"

The whole guild erupted in yells and cheers of excitement and joy. In a matter of seconds, people were already parading around Alicia on their shoulders.

(Your PoV)

I sit alone at a table, watching my lively guild members party. I focus on Alicia as she, Wendy, and Romeo talk with grins on their faces.

"She's really happy." I hear a familiar voice say as they approach the table. I look up and see Gray giving me one of his warm smiles.

"Yeah she is. I don't think I've ever seen her this happy." I say as Gray sits down next to me. I hold his hand and lean on his shoulder.

"It's hard to believe that it's only been a few months since she started living with me."

I feel Gray nod as he speaks, "Yeah. She adjusted pretty quickly though. Everyone here at the guild loves her. Plus she's your little sister so that's another reason why they love her."

I chuckle as I respond, "Yeah you have a point there. She's also strong too, so she fits right in. Romeo and Wendy quickly became friends with her too."

We continue talking until we decide to go outside for a bit.

(3rd PoV)

"Gray?"

"Yeah?"

"You're not going to leave me again right?"

Gray pulled (Y/N) into a hug and rested his chin on top of her head, "(Y/N), I'm never going to leave you again. Never. I would never do that to you. You're my whole life."

At that, (Y/N) smiled and buried her face in his shoulder, "Thank you Gray."

Gray smiled warmly before kissing (Y/N)'s head, "Anything for my Melo." (Y/N) blushed lightly as she moved her head up, making Gray move and look down at her. They both leaned in and kissed each other lovingly.

After they pulled away and looked at each other and smiled before speaking,

"I love you (Y/N)."

"I love you Gray."
