The Ice-Mage (Gray Fullbuster x Reader)

Chapter 22

(3rd PoV)

"I'm so glad to be off of that hell-trap!" Natsu exclaimed happily.

"Aye sir!"

"Let's check into our designated hotel, then we can go explore." Erza said as everyone stepped off the train.

Team Natsu and Elfman nodded and headed towards their designated hotel. The rest of Fairy Tail headed to a nearby hotel.

After they settled in, everyone broke into groups and left to explore. The Fairy Tail Team was told to be back at their hotel at 8:30 sharp, or they would be disqualified from the games.

Gray and (Y/N partnered together while everyone else went off by themselves.

"The capital is really pretty. There are so many flowers." (Y/N) stated. Gray nodded.

(Y/N) then shivered and stopped walking. "What's wrong Melo?" Gray asked.

"I just got a chill. I just felt someone that has the same magic as you." (Y/N) said.

Someone then stopped right in front of (Y/N) and Gray.

"Lyon." Gray said coldly.

"Hello Gray." Lyon said with a smirk.

"Who's this, Gray-kun?" (Y/N) asked.

Lyon then looked at (Y/N). He immediately started to blush as he looked at (Y/N).

"This Lyon. The kid that I used to train with when Ur was teaching me Ice-Make magic." Gray said as he glared at Lyon and stepped in front of (Y/N) slightly.

"Now who is this Gray? Don't tell me that you somehow managed to get a girlfriend?" Lyon asked cockily.

(Y/N) and Gray blushed as they glanced at each other. 

"She's not my girlfriend. This is (Y/N). She's one of the strongest wizards in Fairy Tail." Gray said  

(Y/N) nodded as she stuck out her hand to shake Lyon's hand.

Lyon shook her hand and smiled, "I should've know better. She's way too beautiful to be your girlfriend."

(Y/N) rolled her eyes as she let go of Lyon's hand.

Gray was glaring daggers at Lyon.

"She looks too adorable to be strong too. Are you sure that she's one of the strongest wizards in your guild?" Lyon asked.

(Y/N) and Gray glared at Lyon. (Y/N) then engulfed her left hand in blue fire and her right hand in rock. 

"Wanna bet on that?" She asked darkly.

Lyon's eyes widened. 

"She doesn't like be calling weak. See you at the games. Let's go Melo." Gray said as he grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and dragged her away in the opposite direction.

As Gray dragged her away, (Y/N) looked back at Lyon and did the 'I'm watching you' motion with her fingers.

"I cannot believe that he called me weak! No one calls me weak!" (Y/N) said loudly as she clenched her fists.

"Don't worry about him. You can easily beat him. Let's just head back to the hotel." Gray said.

As they were close to the hotel, they saw Natsu and Happy walking towards a group of people.

"Hey Natsu, what's going on?" (Y/N) asked as she and Gray approached Natsu and Happy.

"I don't know. But it seems like a fight." Natsu said excitedly.

"There's a weird smell coming from the center though.." (Y/N) said.

"C'mon, let's go check it out!" Natsu said excitedly as he grabbed (Y/N)'s hand and dragged her to the group.

They both went through the crowd and got to the middle.

"Hey! Leave the guy alone!" (Y/N) said as she saw what was happening.

"Aw, come on (Y/N)!" Natsu whined.

The two people beating up a guy on the ground stopped and looked at Natsu and (Y/N). The blond haired person then smirked and nudged his black-haired friend.

"It's them." The blonde-haired one said to his friend.

"Long time no see (Y/N)." The blonde-haired one said.

(Y/N) scoffed and replied just as Gray stood next to her, "Sting. Rogue. It doesn't surprise me that you two are the cause of this."

"Wait, you know them?" Natsu asked.

(Y/N) glared at Sting and Rogue, "You can say that. They're part of Sabertooth and they're 3rd generation dragon slayers. Don't get too friendly with them Natsu."

"What?! Why?!" Natsu exclaimed.

"So they really are back. If you guys are here to claim back your title, you might as well go home." Sting said.

"We're taking our title back. Don't get cocky." Gray said.

Ignoring what they just said Natsu asked something, "Did your dragon's disappear on X777?!"

Rogue and Sting glanced at each other and shrugged,

"You can say that."

"What do you mean?" (Y/N) asked suspiciously.

"We killed our dragons."

So there wasn't much Gray x reader in this chapter, but there will be in the next chapter! I promise.
