(3rd PoV, You're 10 years old)
"Put me down, Happy!" 10 year old (Y/N) said as she squirmed around in the air.

"You're heavy..!" Happy whined as she carried (Y/N) in the air. "No I'm not! Put me down!" (Y/N) said.

"Gray-kun! Help me!" (Y/N) yelled out. "Happy, put her down." Gray said as he looked up at Happy and (Y/N).

"Fineee." Happy groaned. He then let go of (Y/N). (Y/N) closed her eyes tightly and braced for impact, but didn't feel anything.

She opened her eyes and saw Gray looking down at her. "You okay, Melo?" Gray asked. (Y/N) nodded and blushed slightly.

Gray looked up at Happy, who was giggling. "I told her to put her down, not drop her. She could've gotten hurt." He said. Happy stopped giggling and nodded, "Sorry (Y/N)."

(Y/N) nodded and Gray set her down. "Thank you, Gray-kun." She said as she looked up at Gray and grinned.

"No problem." He said as he ruffled her hair. "(Y/N)!" Wendy called as she and the rest of Team Natsu came over to Gray and (Y/N).

"Hi guys..!" (Y/N) greeted. "Today is when Master Makarov announces who is going to be in the S-Class trials, right?" Lucy asked.

They all nodded.

"Erza, Gildarts, Mira, get up here. We've got an announcement to make." Makarov said.

Everyone in the guild went in front of the stage where Makarov, Erza, Gildarts, and Mira were at.

Gray grabbed (Y/N)s hand and they walked to the front of the stage, next to Natsu and Lucy.

"Alright, the people that will be in the S-Class trials will be Mest Gryder, Freed Justine, Juvia Lockser, Elfman Strauss, Levy McGarden, Cana Alberona, Gray Fullbuster, and Natsu Dragneel!" Master Makarov announced.

Everyone in the whole guild cheered. After Master Makarov was done explaining the rules and the date they would leave, everyone split up around the guild and talked.

"You did it, Gray-kun!" (Y/N) cheered. "I sure did." Gray said as he smiled. He already partnered up with Loke, leaving Juvia heartbroken.

"I gotta go, Melo. But I'll see you later, okay?" Gray said. (Y/N) nodded and hugged Gray.

Gray and Loke then left to go train.

(2 weeks later. The day of the departure)

"You gotta win, okay Gray-kun? You gotta win for me!" (Y/N) said as she hugged Gray.

"I will, don't worry. Don't cause too much trouble for everyone at the guild." Gray said. "I'll try." (Y/N) said.

Gray chuckled and ruffled (Y/N)s hair. He hugged her again and got onto the ship.

"Be careful everyone! Gray-kun, put your clothes on!" (Y/N) yelled out, not knowing the terrible news that will happen in the upcoming days.
