Where Fighting Gets Us

I really wish I could say that Tommy and I fighting like that was a one time thing. Too bad that I couldn't say that. Not even a little bit. Not even at all. It seems every time I see Tommy know we're fighting about something. It's hard fighting with someone you care about so much.

"I don't know Bret, we just can't stop fighting." I tell him.

"You need me to fly out and kick his ass?" Bret asks and I roll my eyes.

"Like you could." I say and he laughs.

"Of course I could." He says and I smile.

"Honey, CC could kick your ass." I say.

"CC is just senile, that's the difference." Bret says.

"You'd never cheat on me, right?" I ask and it goes really quiet.

It's not that hard, Bret. Just say no! Just tell me that I'm worrying about nothing. Tell me that you love me and you'd never cheat on me. Can't you just do that, Bret fucking Michaels?

"Babe, I've gotta go to sound check. I'll call you later, okay?" Bret says and I frown.

"Okay. I agree. Break a leg, Bret." I tell him.

"You too, baby." He says and hangs up the phone.

I sigh and hang up the phone as well. Bret and I are good, I promise. I pick up the phone again and dial Nikki's room number.

"Hello?" He sounds half asleep.

"Nikki? Wanna go to the bar?" I ask and he laughs.

"Sounds good, see you in five!" That definitely perks his interest.

Dani

"What do you mean?" I demand of my boyfriend. "Tell me this story again."

"There's no story, D.  Just three girls left Bret's room this morning." CC says. "It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what they did all last night."

"Look, this is getting too far out of hand. I'm telling Darcy." I state and he sighs.

"This is gonna be war." He tells me.

"It's going to break Darcy." I sigh. "Okay I'm gonna go talk to Darcy. I love you."

"I love you more." CC says.

"I love you most." I say. "Kill it tonight, babe."

"You too, sexy." He says and hangs up the phone.

I sigh and walk out of my hotel room in Salt Lake City. I run into Tommy walking down the hall. I land on my ass because he's the size of a fucking Titan and he laughs his ass off. He pulls me up and smiles.

"Where are you heading so fast, D?" Tommy wonders.

"To go find Darcy." I say and he raises his eyebrow at me.

"Is something wrong?" He wonders.

"Yes. No! Maybe! I don't know." I sigh. "Bret is cheating on her again."

"Again?" Tommy asks. "Are you telling her this time?"

"Yeah or I'm going to try to. I mean I don't want to hurt her." I frown.

"I think she's at the bar with Nikki, can I go down with you?" He asks and I cross my arms.

"Are you honestly that mad at her that you want to see her heart break that much?" I ask and he narrows his eyes. "Come on if you're coming."

Darcy

"I don't think I've ever seen a broad drink as much as you do." Nikki laughs and I smile.
