"Can you say bird?" I ask my daughter as she points up to some birds sitting in the tree.

"Bid." Avery tries and I smile.

"Birds say tweet tweet." I tell her. "Tweet tweet tweet."

"Too too." She tries and I laugh.

"You're getting there." I assure her.

"Mama!" Avery beams and crawls into my lap.

"Yeah, baby." I say and kiss her cheek. "That's me."

It's the beginning of May and a nice day so I decided to take Avery to the park. Avery is getting big but is still small, she's just shy seventeen months old. It means I'm going to have to start to potty train her soon and that scares me a little bit. Dani said potty training Anthony was hard, Jadie and Rose said the same thing with their sons but Avery is a girl so hopefully that will make it easier.

I am a little worried about having a toddler and a newborn. The good thing is that Tommy is done on tour for a while and recording in the studio so he'll be home. I love when He's home and Tommy is the most helpful husband ever when he's home. Tommy is completely in love with Avery and I only hope that he'll love our next daughter as much as he loves Avery, I don't want the other to get jealous.

Avery yawns and I look at my watch, i think it's about time for Avery's nap. I pull her stroller closer to me and put her in. I kiss her cheek and she beams.

"Okay baby girl, I think it's time for a nap." I say and stand up.

I walk back to the house and up the driveway. I unlock the door and walk into the living room and, well, I damn near have a heart attack. My husband is sitting in front of the couch playing video games.

"You've been gone a while." Tommy says without looking over. "I thought you got hit by a bus."

"That's a great way to greet your pregnant wife." I state and cross my arms. "Speaking of which why are you home? I'm happy to see you but you're not supposed to get in until next week."

"I lied." Tommy states and stands up. "I missed my princesses and my queen."

He walks over to me and puts his hand on my stomach. As if it was planned the baby starts to move around and Tommy grins. I smile and his beautiful brown eyes lock on mine. Tommy lifts my chin and kisses my lips, I smile against his lips and he pulls me closer to him. When we pull away Tommy smiles and kisses my forehead.

"I love you." He tells me quietly.

"I love you too." I say as he laces his fingers through mine.

Tommy pulls me over to the front of the stroller where Avery is and he grins.

"Hey princess! I missed you so much!" He beams as he scoops her out of the stroller.

"Dada!" Our daughter squeals and I smile.

"Yeah, baby! I'm daddy and I love you so much." Tommy says and kisses her cheek.

My husband pulls me closer to him and wraps his arm around my shoulders pulling me further into him. I wrap my arms around his chest and knock my head into his shoulder. Tommy hugs me and our daughter close and it makes me so happy that he's home.

"Tommy, I love you but our baby girl needs to sleep." I say quietly.

"Yeah, so do I." Tommy admits. "And so do you and we're all going to nap." My husband says matter of factly and pulls me up towards the stairs.

Tommy

Darcy is fast asleep and I smile, I love watching her sleep. She's peaceful and beautiful and I can't believe she agreed to marry me. I put my hand on her stomach and I feel our daughter move around.

"You know baby, I love you so much. You have a beautiful mother and a beautiful big sister. You have some crazy uncles and some crazy aunts, your cousins are pretty great but don't ever date anyone of them." I tell our baby. "I love you so much already and I know you're going to be beautiful. I can't wait to meet you and I can't wait for you to meet your family. Everyone is going to be crazy about you."

I still can't believe that this is my life. My life is perfect with my perfect girls.
