Music Video Part 5: New York

"You're gonna freeze." I tell Dani.

"I am not, I have a jacket on." She argues and I roll my eyes.

"But your whole stomach is showing." I say and poke her stomach. "That top barley covers anything."

"You're really bugging me about modesty?" Dani asks with a laugh and I roll my eyes.

"All I'm saying is that it's colder here than it is in the south." I tell her.

We get down to the lobby where Tommy, Rose, and Jade are waiting for us. Tommy pulls me into his lap and kisses my cheek.

"It's weird, this is the most clothing I've seen any of you wear." He laughs.

"Yeah but Darcy doesn't count because you've seen her wear nothing." Jadie laughs and I roll my eyes.

"In November in New York, it's quite a bit colder here than it was in North Carolina." Rose says and pulls her sweater tighter. "I thought I saw it snow earlier!"

"How did you live here?" Jade wonders.

"I don't mind the cold." I admit.

"You're already cold hearted so I guess that makes sense." Dani jokes and I roll my eyes.

"You're not cold hearted, babe." Tommy says and kisses my cheek again. "I love you."

"I love you too." I say and turn so kiss his lips.

Just then the director busts in with our manager, they both look rather pissed. I know Tommy and I didn't do anything this time so we're in the clear.

"Darcy, your family is being a pain." Manager says and I laugh.

"And in other news water is wet and Rose has laid more guys than Marilyn Monroe." I say and the manager and director blink. "I thought we were just naming the obvious. My family is being a pain, water is wet, and Rose is a skank."

"You've had more boyfriends in that past six months than I have." She states.

"Boyfriends are different that one night stands, sweetheart." I laugh.

"Anyways, your family is now refusing to partake in the video." Director says.

"So what? We don't film in New York anymore?" Tommy asks and he laughs.

"Not exactly, Tommy do us a favour and go wake up Vince, Nikki, and Mick." Manager says and Tommy stands up.

"Guess who's playing Pennsylvania and drove in for the day!" Someone yells as they entered the hotel.

Bret, Bobby, Rikki, and CC all walk into the lobby of the hotel. Dani squeals and hugs her boyfriend. Tommy catches sight of Bret and tightens his grip around me. Bret glares at us before dropping his gaze to his boots.

"You three bands are like a family, correct?" Manager asks.

"Well yeah." Dani answers. "We all love each other, some more than others in the case of Darcy and Tommy and formerly Bret as well as CC and I."

"The cameras are going to be following all of you around New York for the day." Manager says.

"Act like the cameras aren't there, act as if you would if all of you were screwing around normally." Director says. "But we do ask that Tommy and Bret don't kill each other."

"I'd be more worried about Darcy killing Bret." Jadie laughs.

"Us acting out?" Rikki laughs. "Seems easy enough."

We all get loaded into cars and we drive into the city. The let us out at Time Square and told us to run around. But before they let us run they stop us. They hand out a couple of Polaroid cameras and a couple of video cameras. Vince laughs and looks at the video camera.

"Through the eye of Vince Neil." He laughs.

"That's a scary thought." Bobby laughs.

"Extremely." Jadie agrees.

"In addition to our cameras we want to see everything through the eyes of you guys." Director explains.

"Okay, run wild, kids." Manager says. "Don't hurt each other."

We all look at each other, well Vince looks at everyone through the camera lens.

"So which way?" CC wonders.

"Good question." I laugh.

"This way!" Nikki points ahead and grabs my hand pulling me off.

I'm already holding Tommy's hand so I pull him along with me. He grabs Dani's hand and shortly we're a chain of rock stars.

We all screw around for a while and it's a lot of stopping to take pictures with people or sign autographs which is new to me and the other girls, Crüe and Poison are used to it. All of us will stop to bother each other or stop to take the cameras from each other.

"I'm hungry." Nikki says as he bumps me into Tommy.

"At least it isn't me saying it this time." My boyfriend says and bumps me into his bassist.

"We should all stop at one of those hot dog carts." Nikki says and bumps me back into Tommy.

"Are we playing ping pong?" I ask.

"Yes." They say together.

"Jadie can't eat meat, she's vegetarian." I say and Nikki lights up.

"I have an idea!" He says. "Get everyone around the hotdog cart!"

"Uh, okay." Tommy agree as Nikki runs off in a different direction.

We all wait around a hotdog cart but we all get hungry and decide not to wait for Nikki and to just eat. Nikki returns shortly after with his hands behind his back.

"Oh god, what is he up to?" Dani laughs from CC's lap.

"Do you really want to know?" Tommy wonders.

"I'm not sure yet, I'm curious yet horrified." CC admits.

We watch as Nikki walks over to Jade.

"Your a vegetable-- I mean you're a vegetarian so here is your hotdog." He laughs.

Nikki hands her a, well, he hands her a carrot in a hotdog bun. Instantly we all start to laugh our asses off and we just laugh harder when Jadie tries to kill Nikki and he hides behind Rosie while nearly dying of laughter.

"This music video just got a lot more fun." Tommy says as he wraps his arm around me.

"We have a pretty twisted family, don't we?" I ask and he grins.

"I wouldn't have it any other way." He says and kisses my cheek.

"Yeah, me too." I agree with a laugh.
