"It's nice to know you can rock something other than a skirt, D." Tommy tells Dani as the three of us get into an elevator. "Still have the hooker heels though."

"Have you seen your girlfriend's shoes?" Dani laughs and points to them.

"I love them, their Chuck Taylor hooker boots!" I laugh and Tommy smiles.

Today is our last day shooting in the south. We're shooting in my hometown of Cameron, North Carolina and I'm petrified. I mean I haven't been here since I was small. I don't know how they're shooting here, I don't know what they're shooting here and I don't like the unknown.

The elevator doors open in the lobby and our singer and our guitarist are waiting for us. Rosie smirks as soon as she sees all of us.

"I sure hope that your boyfriend being around isn't going to distract you, Darcy. You need to film your parts and you need to focus." She states and I smile.

"I know, blondie." I joke and she flips me off. "Ouch, I'm hurt."

We get loaded into the the SUV (since Tommy demanded that he came with us we needed to up to a sport utility). Tommy and I sit in the very back and prepare for the two hour long drive from Charlotte to Cameron. Originally I was sitting on the driver side but Tommy pulled me into the middle seat beside him.

"What's going on in your head, babe?" My boyfriend wonders and I shrug.

"Nothing." I promise him and he laughs.

"Bullshit." Tommy says quietly and kisses my cheek. "Are you scared?"

"Try petrified." I mutter and he looks at me. "It's been a long time since I was here last, like I'd come in the summer to visit my grandparents but they died a long time ago. I don't have family here and I don't live her so I don't know what they're filming here."

"You don't trust them?" He wonders and I shake my head. "Rosie told me you wrote Roots. Why did you start it 'dear mom and dad'?"

"If I could have anything, I'd want my parents back. That's what I'd tell them." I explain and he nods.

"Fair enough." Tommy agrees and I yawn. "Tired?"

"Yeah, I admit. It's a two hour drive and I'm going to sleep." I say and lean my head back against the seat.

"Okay, sweet dreams." My boyfriend laughs.

Tommy

While Darcy sleeps beside me I watch out the window. From what the driver keeps saying we're almost to Cameron and we'll probably be there within fifteen miles. Should I maybe wake up, Darcy? I mean she doesn't like being woken up so that could be kinda dangerous.

"T-Bone? Should you maybe wake up our drummer?" Jadie asks me and my eyes grow.

"Can you read my mind?" I wonder and she laughs.

"Not even close." She laughs.

"Okay just checking." I laugh.

I wrap my arm around her shoulder and gently shake her awake. She moans and refuses to open her eyes.

"Babe." I say quietly.

"Tommy, stop." Darcy complains quietly. "Let me sleep."

"Probably not the first time she's said that." Dani laughs and I flip her off.

"Babe, we're almost to Camer-oh shit." I say as I glance out the window.

We're pulling up to a small church with a cemetery out behind. This isn't going to end well, they want Darcy to go see where her parents are buried. God, she's going kill someone.
