"Awe baby, don't cry." I say as I scoop her up out of the high chair.

Avery is wearing something different than she was this morning. I had put her in little blue jeans and a little Mötley Crüe shirt, she also had on her baby Chuck Taylor's. I had put her little bits of red hair up in two little pigtails now her hair is still the same but she's not wearing that outfit anymore. Avery is wearing a blue dress with a white sweater but she still wears her baby Chuck Taylor's.

"Did Aunt Rosie get to you?" I wonder as someone else walks into the kitchen.

"Yes, she puked all over the outfit she was wearing." Rose says. "And Dani wanted lots of pictures, she'd be disappointed if there's no pictures of her in a dress on her first birthday."

"Sounds like Aunt Dani." I laugh as I bounce my daughter.

"Like mother like daughter." Rose laughs and grabs my baby's shoe.

"Tommy is wearing the same ones." I admit with a laugh. "It's just dumb luck at this point."

"She looks a lot like you." The singer tells me. "With Tommy's eyes."

"I can't believe how big she is." I say and looks at Avery again. "Yeah, you're so big and beautiful, baby." I tell her and she smiles.

"Did you tell Tommy about you being pregnant again?" Rose wonders.

"Uh huh." I say and I stick my tongue out at my daughter.

"How'd that go?" Rose continues.

"He's excited." I say simply. "I have a doctors appointment the first week of January." I explain and she nods. "Where's Brice and the jockstrap?" I wonder and she rolls her eyes.

"Brice is with Jade and Ian is in New York playing the Giants." She explains.

"You drove to Barstow just to get a babysitter?" I wonder and she groans.

"Jadie stayed with me yesterday because she came down for Nikki's birthday and today she has Avery's and since tomorrow's yours there was no real point of going back to Barstow." Rose explains.

"So you had the joy of dealing with two children?" I ask and she laughs.

"Three if you could Alby." Rose laughs and I grin.

The back door opens and Nikki and Tommy walk in the back door carrying food. Nikki is a bit more excited to see Avery. My odd big brother of sorts kisses the top of my head and steals my daughter from me.

"Hi baby girl, happy birthday!" Nikki coos and I laugh as my husband's arms come around me.

"I missed you." Tommy mumbles in my ear before kissing my cheek. "I love you."

I turn around in his grasp and go up on toes to kiss his lips. Tommy picks me up and I put my forehead down on his and he grins.

"I love you too." I say quietly.

"Can you believe it's been a year?" Tommy asks.

"What since you guys had sex?" Nikki laughs and I roll my eyes.

If you only knew, Nikki.

I get put back on my feet and Rose looks at me. She looks at Tommy and I then to Nikki who is too entertained by our daughter. Nikki eventually looks up and sees all of us looking at him.

"What?" He asks.

"What was that last thing you said?" Rose wonders and Tommy hugs my shoulders from behind.

"That its been a year since Darc and Tommy had sex." Nikki answers kinda confused and Rose looks back at us.

"You didn't tell him yet?" She wonders.

"We have told any of them yet." Tommy admits and Nikki looks at him confused.

"What the hell is going on, T-Bone?" He wonders kinda worried.

"Hasn't exactly been a year." My husband says simply. "Maybe twelve hours." I step on Tommy's foot and he laughs.

"Where are you going with this?" Nikki asks still kinda worried.

"Well I didn't drink last night or the night before and that won't change for about nine months." I explain and his eyes grow.

"You're pregnant?" He asks and I nod. "Again?"

"Yeah." I grin.

"That's great!" Nikki says loudly and we laugh. "You're going to be a big sister, Avie." He tells Avery.

Tommy

"Okay baby, you've got to blow." Darcy tells Avery.

I watch as my wife shows our daughter how to blow out the candle and Avery tries her damnedest to blow out the candle. In the end I think Darcy blew out the candle but Avery clapped like she did it all by herself.

Rose pushes me towards my wife and daughter.

"Go. Avery is going to want these pictures when she gets bigger and she's going to want her daddy in them too." She tells me and I nod.

I walk over beside Darcy who is putting a bib on Avery so she doesn't get cake all over the dress she's wearing. I wrap my arm around my wife's waist and she steps closer to me as she finishes with the bib.

"Darcy, look up and smile." Rose says and Darcy looks up at her friend. "Tommy, you too."

"What did I do?" I ask with a laugh and my wife elbows me. "Okay."

Darcy and I put up with Rose snapping pictures for a few minutes while Avery smashes cake and tries to jam it in her face hole. Then Darcy and I go and sit at the table with everyone else. I lace my fingers through Darcy's and she smiles.

"Where did the time go?" She wonders and I smile.

"Who knows but we have seventeen more years until we really have to start worrying about that." I laugh and kiss her cheek.

"But we have another eighteen." Darcy says quietly and puts her hand on her stomach.

"That is true." I agree and put my hand on top of hers.

I never thought I'd be this lucky, if I'm being completely honest. Yeah the band made it but I thought that was as far as my luck was going to go. I met a beautiful girl and we fell in love. We got married and spent the better part of a year trying to get pregnant. The beautiful girl finally got pregnant and gave birth to our beautiful daughter. Now we get to do it all over again. I can't wait. I'm the luckiest guy on this planet.
