Giordana

Melbourne (September 2015)

It had officially been nearly two months since I last saw the boys. I missed them all terribly, especially Luke. Nothing had changed, everything he said he would do, he did. He called, Skyped and text messaged me as much as possible. It was the third of September, and the boys, would just be finishing up at their concert in Wantagh, New York. It was also exactly a year to the day, that Luke admitted he liked me, through a drunken phone call at five am their time. You'd probably think it's weird that I remember that, but it wasn't hard to remember something like that. I remember that day, as clear as anything.

I was out celebrating my cousin's birthday. We were out at Mr Mason, a quiet bar, in Melbourne's CBD. We were having a quick few cocktails, before we headed to have dinner at Chin Chin. It was around seven pm when my phone rang.

Flashback, September 3, 2014

"Hey, Gi," my cousin Zoey said, as I was walking back with our next round of drinks
"Yeah?"
"You're phone rang," she told me, "some guy called Luke," she didn't realise I was talking about Luke Hemmings, from 5 Seconds of Summer. She knew I knew the guys, as she was a year older than me she knew Michael and I were best friends
"That's weird it's like five am, where he is," I shrugged, not really caring about it too much, when it started ringing again. It was Luke again, "hold up, I'm going to take this, I'll be right back,"

I walked outside, and answered the call, "hey, what's up?"
"Dana," he slurred, he was drunk
"Are you okay Luke?"
"I'm good, babe,"
"Are you sure?" I asked, "you sound drunk,"
"I'm goooood. Me and the boys are just having a few drinks!"
"Okay," I laughed, this wasn't the first time I'd received a drunken phone call from him over the last few months, "why are you calling me?"
"I just wants to tells you that you're so pretty and you're a really nice girl," I was definitely blushing. I had feelings for him, but I hadn't told anyone. Not even Anna. She still didn't know that I knew the guys
"Thank you," I smiled, "but you could have just texted me that,"
"Yesh, I know, but I wanted to talks to you," he said, "I Mish hearings your voices," I couldn't help but laugh, "I likes you Dana,"
"What?"
"You're pretty and you're perfect and I likes yous,"
"I like you too luke," I told him and I could hear him cheer through the phone, "I have to go now though,"
"Buts I wants to talk to you, you should come here,"
"You know I can't," I laughed, "I'm out for my cousins birthday!"
"You should come here, I'm buyings you a ticket,"
"No you're not," I laughed, although I wished he would, "you're not even going to remember this conversation in the morning,"
"Yesshhh I will,"
"Sure you are, Luke go to bed, and I'll talk to you when you wake up,"
"You're no fun," he said, and I could just imagine him pouting. And it made me want to kiss his lips, "buts I'll go. I misshhhh you,"
"I miss you too, say hi to the other guys for me," I told him
"Okay, bye Dana! I see you soon,"
"I'll see you soon Luke," and I hung up the phone.

Flashback over

Right now, I was getting ready for work, when I heard the buzzer to my apartment go off. I went into the living area, where the phone to buzz someone in was located, "hello?"
"I have a delivery for Miss Dana Angelo?"
"One second," I said, and I buzzed them in. It was a man from Australia Post
"Just sign here please," he told me, and I did what he said. I took the parcels off of him; thanking him. I took the packages over to the couch and walked into the kitchen to grab a knife so I could open them.
