September 30th (Park Hyatt Hotel & Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne)

After we finished at Sunrise, we had a couple of radio interviews to do, before we had a few hours of free time, before we had to get ready for the Pre Grand Final dinner; which was taking place in the MCC members dining room; it was just going to be the AFL officials, along with all of the Presidents of the clubs in the Australian Football League.
I knew that I should go back and sleep, as tonight and tomorrow were both going to be huge; but I didn't want to. The adrenaline from performing this morning had kicked in, and sleep was most likely not going to be an option.

We got back to the hotel, and I just stayed with Monti and Holly; I didn't want  to go back to my own room; I wasn't ready to face him. I knew that we'd have to talk about it at some point; but right now, I didn't have anything to say to Brian. I didn't know what to say. I looked in the mirror, in Monti's bathroom, and analysed my appearance; tired eyes, dark circles, and messy hair. Looking at my hair, and running my fingers through the length; I suddenly came to an idea. I knew what I had to do. I needed a change, another one. This time, I was doing something more drastic though. The ends were dead from the amount of bleach that had been put in over the last month. I didn't know what I wanted, so that was when I decided to call up my old hair dresser. Thankfully she had a few free hours this afternoon; and she was excited to see me.

I caught an uber to the salon, and waited for her to finish with her client, before I went in, "G," she exclaimed hugging me, "it's so good to see you,"
"You too, Cass," I told her
"So what brings you down today? I haven't seen you in ages!"
"I need a change," I told her simply
"Another breakup?" She questioned, sitting me down at a station
"Not sure just yet," I told her honestly, "but something happened last night, and you know what I'm like,"
"That I do," she said, "so what are we doing?"
"Surprise me," I said, "do whatever you want, but my ends are dead,"
"I can tell," she said, "are you sure you want to cut it? We don't have any extensions for you,"
"Do what you have to do,"

Around two hours later, I felt like a completely different person; my hair was cut to just below my shoulders, and it was now it was a dark brown shade with some golden highlights, from just below my roots, down to the ends. My head felt lighter, and I was extremely happy with the colour, "is that Gia?" I heard a familiar voice, I looked up and saw Abbey, the owner of the salon, "oh my god! Your hair looks amazing Hun,"
"Thank you!" I smiled, "the length is gonna take a while to get used to, but I'm really happy with it,"
"It really suits you, and I took my niece last night, you did amazing,"
"Thank you," I smiled again, "I'd love to stay and chat, but I have to run off and get ready for the dinner at the G tonight, thank you so much for squeezing me in Cass,"
"Any time G," she said, hugging me again, "just promise me, you won't leave it so long before visits,"
"I'll do my best," I said to her.

I took a couple of photos with her and Abbey, so they could post it on the salon's Instagram page. I was fine with that, but I had to ask them to wait until later tonight, to do it, just after the first person uploads something from the dinner; I wanted shock value; and I really wanted to be able to get to through the city unnoticed; just for one day. So, when I left, I chucked on my oversized sunglasses and a baseball cap.

When I arrived back at the hotel, I realised that I would have to go to my own room, to get my dress for tonight's event. I still wasn't ready to face Brian; but I just hoped that he wasn't in the room. I didn't know where he'd be though. I knew that Monti and Ash, were probably together; and that Holly was probably just chilling, or editing footage from last nights show. Calum would have been with Nia, and Michael would be with Crystal. And I knew that pretty much everyone was extremely pissed off with Brian, after he revealed his original intentions with me, last night; so it was more likely that he was alone in the room.
