Third Person POV
January 1st (Hospital)

I don't think anyone present at the bar in Cancun, just seconds before the clock rolled over to midnight expected what was going to happen. The whole gang were going crazy. Monti Torres had been taken to the hospital with Gia Angelo, and Holly Peterson riding with her. Both of the girls, in tears, wondering what the actual hell was going on. Monti was being given CPR and being monitored by one of the paramedics in the ambulance.

Ashton was freaking out, while the rest of them waited for cabs to take them to the hospital. No one knew what had happened. No one knew what caused Monti to just pass out. The paramedics first thought was an over consumption of alcohol; but her friends assured them that wasn't the case. Monti was only tipsy. She'd been drinking quite a bit through out the day, but she'd also been eating and drinking water to keep herself hydrated. The only thing anyone could do was wait until they got to the hospital, and for the doctor to figure out what was going on.

The taxis finally arrived to take everyone to the hospital. They agreed that only Michael, Crystal, Ashton, Calum and Luke would go. They didn't want to freak out Monti anymore, than what she would be once she woke up. To everyone's dismay, Brian joined them on the venture to the hospital. Ashton was fuming more than the rest of them. As far as he could see this was all Brian's fault. If he didn't show up, this never would have happened. There was also a small part of Ashton that blamed himself. He never should have spoken to Monti like that; and more likely, never should have treated her the way he did in the past, at the beginning of their relationship; or whatever they called it. The never defined what they were, nor did they ever put a label on it; but now, with what seemed like the girl he loves life hanging in the balance, he wished he had.

Ashton was trying hard not to let the tears fall from his eyes. He was trying to be strong. He needed to be strong for Monti. He didn't know what he'd do if she didn't survive this.
Everyone was silent. Crystal and Mariah were holding each other, all you could here were quiet sobs from the two. Alex, Jo, Mitchy and Roy, were sitting silently on the floor. Everyone was scared for their friend. None of them cared about what people would see. They didn't care if fans or media outlets caught wind of this and started posting stories on line. All anyone cared about was Monti's safety.

The taxis arrived to the hospital about half an hour after the ambulance. The girls were sitting outside of Monti's room, holding on to each other; trying to comfort each other. Michael rushed over first, "have you heard anything?" He asked Gia, the small girl didn't say anything, she just shook her head. Michael took her in his arms and comforted her. The way only a best friend could.

Brian looked over at them, jealousy surging through his blood. That was meant to be him, he thought, he should be the one comforting Gia. Not Michael. And that is why, he walked over to them, and literally pulled Michael away from Gia, "what the fuck are you doing here?" Gia screamed at Brian. She hadn't said a word since she saw Monti's unconscious body on the floor at the bar
"We need to talk G," Brian said
"This isn't the time or place," Gia said, turning away, and going back to her friends.

Brian kept himself away from the group for the time being. None of them wanted him here. It was obvious. He knew deep down that he shouldn't have been here. Gia was right, this wasn't the time or place to have the conversation; but what Brian didn't know, was that Gia was done talking to him. She didn't want to hear a single word from him.

After another hour of waiting; that seemed like a life time, the doctor finally emerged from Monti's hospital room. Gia and Luke were the first two people to go up to the doctor. Gia, because she was Monti's best friend, they were almost like sisters; and Luke? Because strangely enough after everything that had happened, Luke and Monti had become great friends. He was there for her when Ashton was being an ass, and she was there for him when he kept striking out with girls; constantly feeling down, cause in his mind all anyone thought of him as, was he guy that cheated on Gia Angelo.
Ashton hang back, still crying. Just crouching in the corner. Silently blaming himself for what happened; and also trying to fight the urge to kill Brian Dales.
