Giordana

October 12th (London, United Kingdom)

We literally had one more day to record the song, before we were headed off to Spain, to film the video clip. So it was going to be another extremely long day in the studio. Monti and I were also told that we had to learn choreography for the live performance at X-Factor; which was something we weren't looking forward to. Neither Monti or I, really knew how to dance; and we hadn't had to dance in any of our music videos, well not professional choreographed dances. This was going to be interesting to say the least.

It was currently five am here in London, and Monti and I were getting ready to head into a radio station, to do an interview. This was arranged at the last minute, and we weren't really happy about getting up super early, around three hours before we would have, if we didn't have the interview; but at the same time we were grateful to have our first interview here in the UK, with Grimmy; who had interviewed bigger names in the past. It was such a huge deal for us to have our first interview here, with someone so well known around the world when it came to radio broadcasting.

Unlike me, Monti was rather nervous about the interview this morning. She'd met Nick Grimshaw a few times, back when she was dating Harry; she was worried that he would say something about how they used to know each other; I just told her not to worry about it, seeing as he's a professional, and with the circles he goes around in, he'd know some pretty interesting information about celebrities.

We arrived at the station, just after six; and went through all the usual protocol, when having an interview. Soon after we were brought in to the booth, and sat down; ready to answer any questions, "And for the first time ever," Grimmy said, he was about to introduce us, "we have the lovely ladies from L.Y.N, here in the studio this morning,"
"Hi," both Monti and I said at the same time
"Now I have to apologise for bringing you in so early, you guys must be exhausted,"
"Not really," I laughed, "we're still rather jet lagged,"
"We actually don't even know if we're still going off LA time or Australian time," Monti explained, "we arrived back in LA, after being in Australia for Sounds Live Feels Live, at around nine pm, on Sunday night, and were literally at the airport the next morning to come here,"
"Well I have to say that it's great you two could make it," he said
"And we're happy to be here," I said, truthfully
"Is this your first time in England?"
"It is for G," Monti said, "I lived here for a few years, when Dad got relocated for work, and I've been back a couple of times,"

"So on to your music," he said, "you've literally taken the world by storm, I have to admit I was a huge fan of Revenge Is Sweeter when I saw the video, where does your inspiration come from?"
"The majority of it has come from a relationship that I was in, and as you can tell it ended pretty badly," I said, "the majority of the songs written that we've released so far, were written during the time I was dealing with the breakup, and then we went on a holiday earlier this year actually, and my ex was there with his new girlfriend, and it wasn't as bad as it was seeing him again, I'd moved on, and there's a song on our album that explains me some how coming to terms with what happened,"
"And which song is that?" Grimy asked next
"It's called Don't Wish," I said, "it was hard making the decision to put it on the album, but it was ultimately the right thing to do,"
"There's a line in there," Monti began, "that brings that chapter of G's life to a close,"
"Oh really?" Grimy asked, "can we get a little sneak peak?" He asked
"Sure," I said. I didn't mind, seeing as this was going to be released in a few hours in Australia, as a promotional single, "apart from Hell and Back, it was the last song we wrote in regards to that relationship ending..."
"So Hell and Back is about that relationship?"
"In a way," Monti explained, "it's about how we got to where we are now, and how much hell we went through, and that it ultimately paid off,"
"I guess that makes sense," he said, "so into more detail about Don't Wish,"
"Basically, the line Monti's talking about, says, now that i moved along, it's clear we don't belong, this is you're last song,"
