It was extremely weird being back in Australia. The last time I was here, it was literally for a week. Being back in Sydney, was even weirder; if that was possible. This place was once my home. I'd literally lived in this city, the majority of my life. We were only going to be here for a few days; then it was back to Los Angeles, for a couple of days, and then on to Paris. Just before we left two days ago, we got told by Feldy, that we'd been asked to perform at the Victoria's Secret fashion show; and I was extremely excited.

Monti and I were currently sitting in our hotel room; with cameras set up. We were about to be broadcasted live over to the American Music Awards. Monti and I were still unsure if we had won, the Best Break Through Artist award. We wanted it to be a surprise.

After the filming of the Tears music video last week; we finally got over our fear of what was being said on social media, and decided to go online. To be honest, we were shocked at all the support we'd been receiving. Not once did we think that we'd be able to get through this, with out losing fans. We'd been told that since the leak, our album sales sky rocketed; selling almost twenty thousand copies with in the first two hours of the leak. I couldn't have been more thankful and grateful to the fans we had.

Another thing we realised, was how hard our fans had been voting for us to win this award. It was insane. In my heart I knew that there was a chance that we could take this award home; but I didn't want to get my hopes up; after all we were up against the likes of Niall Horan.

"And now we're crossing Live to Sydney, Australia!" I heard the voice of Gigi Hadid, through the TV, "welcome L.Y.N!"
"Hey!" Monti and I both said at the same time
"So girls," Jay Pharoh said, "we thought we'd have a little bit of a chat with you, before we announced the next award; now tell us why would you choose to be in Sydney over attending the awards tonight?"
"We're here for the Aria Awards," I said, "they're an award show for Australian music, and we've been asked to perform, and we had a lot to get done in preparation for this,"
"We really do wish we could be there though," Monti finished for me
"So a lots been going on with you girls," Gigi said, "earlier tonight, we saw your world premiere of your new music video, and we have to say it was amazing!"
"Thank you," Monti said, "and yeah a lot has been going on; and it's been hard; but we're getting through it!"

The questions continued on for a couple of minutes, they asked about our next endeavours, and also announced that we were performing at the fashion show next month, "so I think it's about time we announce the award, hey Jay?" Gigi said
"I think you're right," he answered
"Good luck to everyone nominated, the nominees, for the AMA, for best break through artist are..." Gigi said, before her and Jay began rattling off the nominees for the award
"And the winner is..." Jay said
"L.Y.N!" Gigi screamed, "congratulations girls!"

Neither Monti or I could contain our excitement. The minute they read out our names, we were screaming. Just then, there was a knock on our hotel room door, Monti jumped off the couch to go and get it. She returned a few seconds later, walking in holding the award; that we never thought we'd receive; along with Ashton, Michael, Calum and Luke.

Calum, decided to snatch the award from Monti, and then Luke started to speak, "and the winner is..."
"L.Y.N!" They all said together. This was better than anything I could have imagined, having the guys that were partly responsible for us winning the award, handing it over to us.

Shortly after, a few hugs; it was time for Monti and I to make a speech, "wow," was all I could say, "just wow!"
"We just want to thank all our fans, for sticking by us in the last couple of weeks," Monti said, "and thank you all so much for voting! This literally means everything to us,"
"We never thought we'd have a shot at winning this, especially recently!" I said, "we know we've been absent on social media for most of the month, but we were overjoyed, to see how much you guys had been voting for us! Thank you so much for the support! We don't even think we could ever thank you enough!"
"We also wanna thank, John Feldman, our manager, and producer, Brian; for helping us get to where we are,"
"And last but definitely not least, these four guys right here," I said, "thank you for giving us a shot, and letting us join you on tour, it's definitely been an amazing experience,"
"G," Monti said, just before they cut back to the main show, "don't you have something else to say?" She questioned
"That I do," I said, knowing exactly where she was headed with this, "we wouldn't have gotten anywhere close to where we are, without a certain someone, whose in the room right now, Luke get over here!" I laughed
"What?" He questioned, looking shocked, "why me?"
"Just do it," Michael said, pushing him in my direction; I'd told the guys what I was going to do, earlier today; if we won. All except Luke
"If it wasn't for this guy," Monti said, "we wouldn't have had the inspiration to write any of our songs,"
"So..." I began, "SHOUT OUT TO MY EX!" I screamed, grabbing him by the hand, and raising it up in the air, while all of us were pissing ourselves laughing; and just like that, the screen switched back to the award show, "I really wouldn't have done any of this without you," I added to Luke
