July 15th (Madison Square Garden, New York City)

I made my way backstage, and saw that only the guys were there, "where's the girls?" I asked
"Your's and Monti's dressing room," Luke answered
"Thanks," I smiled at him. Things had still been a little awkward between the two of us; but we were being mature about it. It was extremely hard to get on stage every night, and sing songs I'd written about what happened between us. Especially as most nights, the final two songs we played, Secret Love Song Part Two, and then as usual the finale, Revenge Is Sweeter. Luke still didn't know that Monti and I had actually written Secret Love Song; but he very well knew that Revenge Is Sweeter was about him.

I quickly made my way back stage, and ran into my two best friends, talking to none other than Liz Hemmings. To be completely honest, I'd avoided her when I saw her, only quickly saying hi, and then making some half assed excuse, about needing to do something. She seemed to understand though. I mean how couldn't you? Being on tour with two of your ex's was hard enough, but Liz knew everything that happened, between Luke and I, and her being here made it weird for me. I knew that deep down, although the words were never said, she still hoped that there was a chance for Luke and I, "hi guys," I smiled, "what's up?"
"Gia, it's great to see you," Liz said, walking over to me and giving me a hug
"You too Liz," I smiled back, "I hope you enjoy the show tonight,"
"I've seen your girls videos," she admitted, "you're both extremely talented, I'm so glad you were able to put everything aside to support the boys,"
"It's been a very interesting two weeks, I'll say that," Monti laughed
"Well I'll let you girls get ready," Liz said, "I have to go and speak to my son," I just nodded, and Liz turned to leave, but not before speaking to me again, "can I talk to you for a minute?" She asked, I nodded and followed her out of the dressing room

"Are you okay?" She asked me, "you look like you've been crying,"
"I'm fine," I smiled, "there's just a lot going on,"
"Luke said you went to speak to Michael, and I'm proud of you for doing that, I know it would have taken a lot,"
"It did, but it was probably time we had a conversation with out one of us calling the other names," I admitted
"There's something else though, I can tell,"
"Yeah," I admitted, "I just kinda wish my parents were here you know? I wish they were able to support what I'm doing,"
"What do you mean?" She asked, and I knew it was time to talk about it with someone. I hadn't really spoken about it, since arriving in Los Angeles
"Just before Monti and I left, and I told my parents about what we had the opportunity of doing," I began, "they basically said, that if I go, I have no part in the family any more,"
"Gia, that's horrible," she said
"It is, and I feel bad for choosing this over my family, but at the same time..."
"You would have ended up resenting them for making you give up this amazing opportunity,"
"Exactly," I agreed, "I'm going to try and make things right when we're back in Australia, but I don't know what will happen,"
"All you can do is try love," she said, "and I hope your new boy is treating you well," she smiled, I wasn't surprised that she brought up Brian. It was bound to come up eventually
"He does," I smiled
"That's good to hear, although I would love for you and Luke to get back together, I'm glad you're happy and that you've managed to move on from everything that's happened,"
"Thanks Liz that means a lot"
"And although I'm going home soon, I'm only just a call away if you need anything,"
"Thank you," I smiled again, "I better get ready, it was really good to talk to you though,"
"You too, Gia. Although I must admit it's strange calling you something other than Dana,"
"I know, it's weird, everyone knew me as Dana, except for a few people, and now the entire world know me as Gia, or G,"

"We need to talk to you," were the first words Holly spoke, as I made my way back into the dressing room. Monti walked over to the door and shut it
"What's up?" I asked
"Brian called me," Monti said
"What?" I asked, I was definitely confused. I remembered that he called me earlier, and that I didn't answer it; but I was dealing with something that I thought was a little more important, than talking to the guy who was basically my boyfriend. I knew if the reason Brian called me was important, he would have left a message, or called back; but he didn't. So I was just going to call him back after our set, before Monti, Holly and I made our way to where we would be watching the guys perform tonight
"Yeah," she said, "he said he called you, but you rejected the call,"
"Yeah, he did, but I'm pretty sure the conversation I was having with Michael was a little more important than him just wishing me good luck tonight, like he has done every time we've performed," I explained
"That's not the reason he called though," Holly told me
"Why did he call then?" I asked, completely confused
"I don't know why he called you, but he called me because, he thinks you rejected his call on purpose,"
"Fine, I'll call him back," I sighed, reaching in my pocket for my phone, "I'm putting it on speaker, while I fix the mess of makeup on my face, so don't say anything," they didn't say anything, they just nodded.
