September 29th (Margaret Court Arena, Melbourne. Sounds Live Feels Live)

I made my way back to the area where the guys were all chilling out, while the girls played their set. I was seriously proud of G, and how far she'd come in the short time I'd known her. She'd come a long way from the broken girl that Michael told me about in Bali earlier in the year.

I never expected to fall as hard for her as I had. Like I told Holly back in August, I never expected writing that song on her behalf, would lead me to where I am today. Head over fucking heels for the girl whose first serious relationship I had a part in ruining. Although I wasn't completely aware of it at the time.

I grabbed a beer from the fridge, and took a seat back on the couch, where Gia and I were sitting together only minutes ago. I took a sip of the beer, and that's when I noticed the notebook that G, always had with her. Now, I'm not going to lie, and tell you I hadn't been tempted to look inside it; because that wasn't the case. I was always tempted to look and see what was written inside it. I knew it contained song lyrics the girls had written along with random lyrics that GIA had thought of at some point. But what I wanted to know, was what she wrote about, what the songs she wouldn't let anyone see were about.
When we first met, she was really closed off, and I didn't blame her. She played her cards close to her chest; but eventually I broke them down, and I guess that's how I found myself in the position I was in today.

Although, she'd opened up to me, about a lot of things; I knew that there were a few things she kept to herself; the thing with her parents took me months to crack, and she only told me in the end, because the girls got asked to play at some massive sporting event here, and that her dad worked for the sporting league; so there was no doubt she had to see them.

I was dragged out of my thoughts, and random conversation with the guys; I think Calum was talking about how they were going to try and convince Monti to get a tattoo, "she should totally get something huge," Luke said, "like a massive arm piece,"
"Oh God," Michael said, laughing, "that'll be hilarious, because she's so small and innocent looking, it would look so out of place,"
"That girl is far from innocent," Ash added
"Is that so?" Luke questioned, and Ash just nodded, a smirk appearing on his face, "you'd know,"

The conversation continued on, and I kept putting in a few words here and there, "aren't you the least bit curious to see what's, written in here?" I heard an American voice, I turned and saw Rena
"I mean, she's pretty secretive about it," Nia added, sitting on the arm of the couch, "I mean, she's not gonna know if you read it,"
"Yeah, dude just read a couple pages, and then put it back where she left it,"
"That's an invasion of privacy," I told them, "she trusts me, I'm not going to betray that trust," and I knew I was right, it took a lot for G to trust people in general, but it was even harder for me to gain her trust; after everything I'd done, and that includes stuff she doesn't know about. It wasn't like I'd cheated, we weren't exactly official, but I wouldn't do that to her; I cared about her too much to hurt her like Luke did. But what I did do; was probably the worst thing I could do. Although, at the time, I had good intentions; at least I thought they were good intentions; I couldn't help but regret what I'd done. It did lead to a silver lining though, falling for this amazing girl, who had definitely made me a better person.

"Well if you're not gonna read it," Rena shrugged, and I honestly couldn't believe the immaturity of these girls. They were constantly ragging on Monti and Gia, out of nothing but jealousy. I constantly questioned Calum's judgement, when it came to him dating Nia, especially since I heard her talking to Roy English, about how she thought that Monti and Gia were using their connections with the guys to get where they are, and that they were nothing but sluts
"I don't think that's a good idea," I said, trying to grab the notebook out of Rena's hands. The pink haired girl, threw it over to her older sister, who began flipping through some pages
"Are you sure you don't wanna know?" Nia asked, where was Calum? I asked myself, and why was he letting his girlfriend doing this? I was beginning to feel extremely uncomfortable, "I'm sure there's some pretty interesting stuff written in here,"
"I mean, don't you wanna know exactly what happened to her, when Luke cheated on her? The cheating that you caused?" Rena questioned
"I heard all about it from Michael," I told the two girls, I really just wanted them to leave me alone, I knew exactly what they were doing, and I wasn't going to fall into their trap
"Let's read something," Nia said, opening up the notebook at a random page, "ah here we go," and then she began to read, "i was back in high school when, we were talking late from ten, staying up til three am, just friends..." i didn't think much of what she was reading, it was probably just a song about her friendship with Michael. I knew that they were always close growing up, "... Cause every time I ran, I ran to you
I meant it every time I said I loved you, I kiss the thought of you and I, I still regret the day that we said goodbye. And do you think of me at night, I still wish we could've made it right, You can't say that I never tried, I guess everything seems more clear, Here on the other side..." that was when I started to think differently about the lyrics; but at the same time, I hoped that I could call these two on their bluff
"Well looks like your girl is playing you Dales," Rena said, "we all know she went to high school with Michael,"
"You're lying," I told them
"It's all here in black and white," Nia told me, "well blue and white, it was written with a blue pen," she turned the pages towards me, and clear as day, I could see the words,
