November 24th (Channel 7 studios, Sydney)

Just after lunch time the next day, Monti, and I; along with Crystal and Holly, made our way down to channel seven studios in Martin Place, to pre record, our interview with Mel Doyle for Sunday Night. We knew that they wanted the full story, from our perspective; and other than that, all we knew was that the interview would air on the next edition of the show, which was to be Sunday night. I was curious and nervous, as to what would be included in our interview. From what Crystal, had explained, they'd already drafted up some questions. They offered to send us the list, but declined, not really caring about what would be asked, we trusted that they would know what was too far, and we would definitely be looking at the rough cut of the interview, after it had taken place, telling them what was acceptable to be put in.

Once we arrived, we were put into hair and makeup, and gave any photos we had of our past with the guys, to some editing assistants, who would place them in the interview when needed. We'd been told, that Liz and Karen, would be providing some as well; Liz would be providing some of the photos she'd had of Luke and I, and Karen would be providing what she had, from when Michael and I were growing up, as best friends. I knew that Te fans of both of our bands, would be wanting to see these.

"Welcome girls," a production assistant came up to us, just as our hair and makeup was complete, "Mel's ready for you, if you just wanna come with me,"
"Thanks," Monti smiled, at the assistant. She lead us I a room, where three chairs were set up, the way we'd seen on this show many times.

We could see Mel Doyle's blonde hair, and I immediately started to get nervous. This was it. This was finally happening. We could finally set the record straight, "hi girls," Mel said, "thanks for coming in so quickly, we only sent that email yesterday afternoon,"
"We were in Sydney, and it's our pleasure," I said
"How are you girls feeling?"
"Nervous," I admitted, "but relieved at the same time,"
"It'll be good, to actually tell our side of the story,"
"Well the camera crew are just setting up," she said, "but I wanted to ask something, if at the end of the interview, if we could maybe shed some light, on who leaked the story to the press? It wasn't mentioned in our questions, we sent, but my producers and I are wondering if you've found out who leaked it?"
"We have," Monti said, "and we'd be more than happy to tell the world, or at least Australia, who did this,"
"Well girls, let's begin," Mel said, as the camera crew gave her the okay to begin the interview. We took our seats and braced ourselves, for what was to come.

"So now I'm joined by two girls, who you've probably heard about a lot throughout the year," Mel said looking straight into the camera, "Gia Angelo, and Monti Torres, have lead a life, that only young girls could only have ever wished for, but sadly that's come at a price. Cameras being shoved in their faces at every turn, and rumours flying. And that's why I've got them here tonight, to clear up the most recent stories that have come up; welcome girls," and then the cameras panned towards us
"Thanks for having us," I said, trying to be brave and trying not to show any of my nerves.

"So Monti, let's start with you," Mel said, I let out a sigh of relief. That meant I had a little time to come to terms with what I was going to say, "on the twenty ninth of October, a story was leaked, letting the world know of your past, which I'm assuming you wanted to keep private,"
"That it did," Monti answered
"Did you want to clear up, what was said?"
"That's why we're here isn't it?" Monti laughed, "but yeah, so I'll give a little back story," she began, "in 2011 my family and I moved to London, for dad's work, and I was fortunate enough to meet the guys of One Direction. It started off as us just being friends and completely platonic, but towards the end of the three year stint over there, I became romantically involved with Harry Styles, as you've all heard. The first few months were great," Monti continued her story
