March 7th (Sukhothai Hotel, Bangkok)

Ashton, Calum and I made our way down to the hotel pool. This wasn't really how I wanted to spend today. I would have preferred to spend it with Gia, but I knew that her and Monti had plans of some sort. The one thing getting me through the day, was that tonight I would be celebrating her birthday with her.

To say I was happy about Gia agreeing to be my girlfriend last night was an understatement. This was something that I'd wanted to happen for years, and it finally had. I knew she was scared about what would happen; and I understood. She'd seen the worst of what could happen, dating one of us, but there was no way I was going to do what Luke did to her. I would never forgive myself if I did.

We'd ordered a round of beers, and I noticed that Ashton was furiously texting on his phone, "you haven't been off that thing all day," Calum said, "and I know you're not posting on Insragram," he added with a smirk. It meant one thing, Ash was messaging someone, but who? As far as we all knew him and Bryana were well over. Even at her hundreds of attempts to get him to reconsider the break up. There was no way he was getting back with her.
They tried to give it another shot over Christmas, but it all unravelled in Bali, when Ashton found out that Bryana was only using Gia, as someone to hang it with when we were in Australia last July. She just wanted the company and someone to whinge to when she got the hate she received from our fans. She'd gone and convinced Luke to go to that club with Arzaylea, knowing full well that he was with Gia. If I was in LA at the time, I would have stopped it.

In a sadistic way, though, I'm kind of glad everything happened the way it did. I was selfish, yes. But if I wasn't, Gia wouldn't be mine.

"I'm just messaging a girl I met last night," Ash shrugged
"Where did you go last night?" I asked
"The hotel bar," he told us, "I didn't want to stay in the room last night and we all know you were with G," he told us. He shocked me by using one of the nicknames, I called her by
"Wait..." I stopped him before he could continue, "how do you know about me calling Dana, G?"
"Does it matter?" He asked
"Guess not," I shrugged it off
"So whose the girl?" Calum asked, "and does she have any friends?"
"You'll see," was all he said

A few minutes later, I saw a familiar looking girl, walking over to us. She had dark blonde, almost light brown hair, a slightly tanned complexion. She was currently too far away from us for me to actually pin point where I knew her from. I honestly hoped she wasn't a fan. She looked down at her phone, and Ashton's phone went off in his hand, as soon as she looked away. This must be the girl he met last night, I thought to myself, looking over at Cal. He must have thought the same thing, as he looked straight at me.

"Hey babe," Ash said to the girl, when she got closer to us, she bent down and they kissed on the cheek hello
"Hey," she smiled. She then grabbed the beer that was in his hand, and took a mouthful of it
"I can get you your own if you want, ya know?" Ash laughed
"Thanks boo," she said to him. That's when I realised who she was. I only knew one person that spoke like that, and knew of, one other. Gia, and her best friend. Monti.

Ashton went over to the bar to order her a beer, and she took a seat on his sun lounge, "so I believe we haven't officially met yet," she said to both Calum and I, "I'm Monti,"
"Michael," I said to her
"I figured that smurf," she said, "G told me you had blue hair now," I laughed, "and you must be Calum,"
"That I am," he smiled, "I must say I'm disappointed your other friend didn't make it,"
"Who?" She asked, "Holly?"
"Yup,"

We sat around for a little while, just talking and getting to know Monti. It was clear that something went down between her and Ashton last night. But I wasn't going to ask. Not when there was the possibility of fans staying in the same hotel. That was when I realised that Gia, wasn't with her.
