Chapter 19: This Must Be Paradise

The next morning I woke up to find my new husband staring at me.

"Good Morning Mrs. Marquet."

"Good Morning Mr. Marquet."

We were both grinning ear to ear.

"We're married," I whispered and leaned in for a kiss.

He smirked into the kiss, "Yes we are."

Suddenly my eyes shot open and I jumped out of bed without any clothes on. 

"What's wrong?"

I threw on his shirt.

"What time is it?"

"8:00, relax Mel our flight isn't until noon."

I felt my muscles relax and I slipped back into bed and let Travis wrap me in his arms.

"Sorry," I mumbled.

"It's okay I think your OCD is cute."

"I don't have OCD." He kind of gave me the bitch, please look. 

"Okay maybe just a little.." He laughed, and I swear I nearly melted.

"I really love you Mel, OCD and all."

"Gee thanks."

"Don't you love me?"

"Nah. I just married you for the heck of it," I teased.

He then pulled me into a death lock. He straddled my hips.

"Oh you don't love me huh?"

"Nah. You're just okay."

"So you don't love it when I kiss you like this?" He connected our mouths in a passionate kiss.

"Nope. I find it entertaining."

"Hmm. So you don't love it when I touch you like this?" He roamed his hands everywhere; and everywhere he touched me he left a trail of fire.

"Nope. It's weird." I continue to tease him and I know the game is almost over when I see a small hint of irritation on his face.

"What about when you say, 'make love to me Travis'?" He raised an eyebrow knowing the game was done. I felt myself blushing at his remark. 

"I get caught up in the moment." He started laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too.

"I really love you."

"And I really love you Travis."

"Are you caught up in the moment or is this real?" He teased.

"It's real." 

"That's what I thought." 

He kissed me and we made love until it was time to leave for the airport.

Hand in hand we exited the plane. I was so glad to finally be in Hawaii.

"Wow." Was all I could say when I took in the breezy ocean air.

"Pretty big  change of scenery for you Kansas princess."

I elbowed him in the ribs.

"Shut up Travis, we haven't all been on the luxurious vacations you have."

"I'm only teasing my love."

"Well it's going to take a lot more than that to make it up to me."
