Chapter Nine

I looked at Justin confused and scared.

He put his finger over my mouth indicating for me to be quiet. I nodded following his lead. He grabbed my hand slowly reaching under the couch grabbing a black bag. I breathed slowly watching his every move. Who would've thought I would be in the middle of a robbery? This is so insane and scary at the same time. I squeezed Justin's hand making him look at me. I was so scared. Justin leaned in whispering in my ear, "Its gonna be okay. I won't let anything happen to you." I nodded.

Justin stood up giving me the black bag with was really heavy. He put me behind him backing up against the wall. He grabbed the keys quickly running out the door. Which would've been a good escape if I hadn't tripped over the coffee table by the door. The two masked men looked at us and began running towards us. Justin grabbed my hand running down the stairs. We ran to the parking lot. I stepped on something sharp. I screamed in pain but kept running which was painful.

But I really couldn't. I started slowing down. "Come on!" Justin yelled. But I couldn't my foot was bleeding a lot. One of the men grabbed me by my hair pulling me towards them. Justin ran up to them shooting one in the knee cap and punching the other one off of me. He then tied the black bag around my waist throwing me on his back running.

His strength and speed was beyond belief. Justin put me in the passenger side of his Lexus got in and drives away. I held my foot in pain.

"What was that all about?" I breathed taking off my shirt putting it around my foot. Justin stared at me for a minute then looked away.

"That was a set up. That was fucking Selena playing with me." Justin cussed under his breath making a sharp turn. He was pissed. I didn't know how to calm him down.

"Who's Selena?" I asked putting more pressure on my foot.

"Selena Marie Gomez the most powerful drug trafficking queen you'll ever meet." He sighed speeding down the highway.

"Okay.. So what does she want from you?" I asked leaning back. Justin pulled up to my hotel.

"Selena wants me. She wants to bring me back into her twisted fucked up game. I don't play that shit anymore. I'm my own boss." He said as he got out the care grabbing the black bag picking me up bridle style. I was shocked at his actions. He cares me to my room. I unlocked the door limping in. I sat on the bed. Justin paced around.

"So you're a drug lord?" I breathed in disbelief. He looked at me slowly.

"It's all I know. It's who I am. I didn't mean to being you into this. It's best if you stay away from me. I don't want you getting hurt." He grabbed his bag walking towards the door. I got up limping towards him. I grabbed his arm.

"You've helped me. So let me help you." I said looking into his eyes. He helped me sit back down.

"Minnie what I do. It's illegal. I hurt people... I sell drugs to people. I steal from people. This life isn't for you." He said walking back towards the door.

"How do you know what's best for me? I've been raped! I've been treated like shit basically my whole life! I've always been treated like the wimp in my family! I can do so much yet people expect so little! So Justin let me help you!" I stood my ground clenching my fist. Justin turned and looked at me. I knew I wanted to help him. I knew that he needed me as much as I needed him. Even if he didn't admit it.

Justin sighed walking towards me.
"You really wanna help?" He asked holding the black bag. I nodded. Justin poured out all the stuff from the black bag on to the bed. About a hundred diamonds fell out the bag.

"Where'd you get this?" I asked grabbing one examining it. Pure diamond. "Someone I know gave it to me. This is what Selena wants." He sat down next to me grabbing my foot cleaning the blood.

"If you're gonna help me. We need rules. Don't get in my way, do as I say, and if I promise you something I mean it. Got it?" He said wrapping up my foot. I nodded. Just as he finished someone banged on the door. I got scared.

Justin got up. "Hide the diamonds." He whispered. I did as he said as he answered the door. My heart was racing.

What have I gotten myself into?
