Pretty much the whole ride to school was just intense silence. I looked at Justin seeing his hands grip the steering wheel hard. I bit my cheek looking down. I felt like I may have pushed it. I should've just left it with complicated. But I mean come on! Isn't that just quite odd. Just "Complicated"? The way he said it was like he was hiding something. Something that he's trying to keep away from me.

I must've been lost in thought cause we were already at my school. I'm just gonna avoid asking him how he knows what school I go too. I grabbed my bag. "Thanks.." I said softly.

"I'll pick you up after school." He said in hard voice. I looked at him. He had his hands on the steering wheel and his head down. "Justin.. You don't have too.." I said getting out the car. He looked at me. "I said I'll pick you up so I will.. Have a nice day." He nearly commanded. I nodded closing the door. He just sped off. Okay what was that about? I looked at my watch.. 6:30 on the dot. How...? Just forget it Minnie..

I walked into school. My mind was overflowing with so much shit. I opened my locker when someone poked my cheek. I turned seeing Austin. My best friend since 7th grade. He's tall, black hair, dark green eyes, braces, and well built. He wasn't a nerd he was really popular.

"Can I help you Mr. Mahone?" I asked grabbing my Psychics book. He laughed.

"I went by your house your step dad said you weren't there. And telling by the buzz going around school you've gotten yourself a boyfriend." He teased. I breathed in slowly. The mere mention of my step dad sent the memories rushing. I shook my head getting rid of the thoughts.

"I was at a friends house. And Justin my next door neighbor who's twenty gave me a ride to school. So.. Nope still a single pringle." I sighed walking down the hallway. Austin wrapped his hand around my shoulder.

"Don't worry Austin is always free for his bestie." He bit his lip giving me one of his "looks." I laughed pushing his head back. He pulled me to his side walking to class.

After school I was kinda late in my last period so I was basically the last person in the hallway. I opened my locker grabbing my stuff. While putting my stuff in my bag it felt like I was being watched. I shook it off walking down the hall. The feeling kinda grew stronger. I started pacing. Then footsteps started getting louder. I looked behind me and saw a hooded figure. My breath hitched and I started running. I turned the corner bumping into someone.

I froze. I was starting to except the fact I might die. I closed my eyes tight. The person I bumped into started shaking me. I opened my eyes seeing Justin. I felt instant relief and inch of fear kinda grew.

"What happened? Are you okay?" He asked worried. His eyes skimming my body seeing if I was hurt.

"I-I'm fine.. S-Someone was following me.." I nodded pointing to the hallway. Justin walked down the hallway looking around. He walked back over to me. "There's no one." He sighed putting his hand on my back walking outside. I just sat down on the concrete wall trying to get my breathing under control.

Justin stood I front of me. I looked up at him. His brows were furrowed.

"What?" I breathed standing up.

"Are you sure you're okay? Is everything fine?" He asked bending down slightly looking at me.

"I'm fine! Don't look at me like I'm a child!" I huffed walking down the stairs. He followed laughing.

"Where's your car?" I asked looking around the parking lot. I turned to look at Justin when a motorcycle helmet was placed on my head. I opened the lens looking at him. He smirked. "No! I'm not riding a motorcycle!" I exclaimed looking at him like he was a lunatic.

"Either that or we walk." He said seriously. I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Justin I wanna live to see tomorrow!" I scoffed taking off the helmet. "Helmet hair.." I muttered fixing my hair.

"I promised you wouldn't get hurt. Now if I thought you would get hurt on a motorcycle would I have brought it?" He asked crossing hi arms across his chest. "No.." I sighed rolling my eyes.

"Exactly." He chuckled putting the helmet back on my head. He got on the bike starting it up. I climbed behind him. I'm not sure where to grab so I just sat there. Justin sighed grabbing my wrist putting them around his waist. I felt oddly stupid.

He started down the street I grabbed the front of his shirt holding on for dear life. I could hear Justin hollering for joy like an idiot. Again with the speeding up as the highway shit. Lord Jesus this guy. He started speeding up.

"Justin!" I screamed gripping his shirt even tighter.

"I promise you're not gonna get hurt." He yelled back putting his hand on my hand.
