"Laaauuuren!"

I look up, shielding my eyes from the afternoon sun. Squinting, I see Ally's head popping out from over the ledge, about four stories up.

She's waving down at me with a huge grin, and a few seconds later, I see Camila's head also come into view, with an even bigger smile on her face.

I wave back at both of them excitedly, and when I look back down at my lock screen, Vero's response makes my pulse jump.

Vero: It's Lucy.
Vero: You need to come home, Lauren. She needs you.

My brows knit together, and I briefly glance up at the rooftop again, before hitting dial on my phone.

It rings several times, before going to voicemail. I swear under my breath, and I hang up right away. My phone buzzes, and I see another text from Vero.

Vero: Sorry, can't talk right now. I'll call you later.

I make a sound of disgust, stuffing my phone back into my pocket.

Obviously if she won't even pick up for me, it can't be anything all that serious, right? Maybe Vero's just being dramatic like she always is; I'm sure Lucy's fine.

I decide that I'll need to call Vero back later though, and ream her out for building things up like that, only to shut me out.

For now, I try to shake the mild apprehension in my chest, and I make my way through the open warehouse doors. I follow the neon signs up the steel stairway, and climb the steps all the way up to the rooftop.

When I make it to the top landing, I realize there's a full crew up here, just working away.

There're several large tents set up, along with various lighting equipment. Most of the crew members look like they're on a little break, while the make-up artists are busy touching up some of the girls' faces.

I think I see Dinah and Normani sitting down in the chairs, but it's hard to tell from where I'm standing. Ally's now right in the middle of a shoot, just a little further off to the side, on top of a platform overlooking the city.

There are a couple of stylists milling about in front of two racks of various clothing, and the photographer and her assistants are all busily looking through the latest shots.

I scan the rest of the area, and see Camila headed in my direction.

I only have a few moments to admire the way her leather shorts hug her hips, and the way her lightly tanned skin contrasts against the matching leather vest she's wearing.

With only a black bra underneath, and cutoff biker gloves covering her hands, I can't help the way my eyebrows rise appreciatively.

"Why did I know you'd like this outfit, hmm?" Camila teases, biting her bottom lip, as she gathers me into her arms.

I let my eyes linger on her mouth, before looking up, answering, "Because you know you look fucking hot."

She grins at me, pulling my face to hers for a quick kiss. She retreats way too soon for my liking, but when she tugs at my hand to follow her, I grin back happily.

Camila pulls me along to the other side of the rooftop, where there aren't any people around.

She stops abruptly, and without warning, Camila pushes me up against the brick wall, and her lips are immediately devouring mine.

I moan quietly as her teeth graze over my bottom lip, and I pull her closer to me as her hands sneak their way under my shirt. My knees get somewhat weak, as her touch continues to roam all over my skin, settling around my ass when she pulls my hips towards her.
