33. Father Meet Up

Hindi mapakali si Ian sa kanyang opisina. Tayo, upo... tayo upo...He can't concentrate, lumilipad ang isip niya. He's bothered knowing that his gjrlfriend is with her ex. Ba't ba kasi ako pumayag! Frustrations on his mind. Jc said her words to him that nothing will happen, he believe her but her ex don't. Iniisip niyang kung ano ang pakay ng lalakeng iyon. Inisip niyang sundan niya ito kung saan mang lugar sila pumunta pero nakalimutan niyang tanungin kay Jc kung saan ito. He grabbed his phone and made a call to Roma. After a few rings, she answered...

"Hello Roma!" bati niya agad

"Oh, hello sir, Good afternoon." Sagot naman ni Jc

"Roma, alam mo ba kung saan yung meeting place ni Jc and Her Ex?" Mabilis niyang tanong

"I'm sorry sir, but i don't know. Hindi niya po pinaalam sakin. Nagmamadali rin kasi siya kanina." Wika ni Roma

Ian sighed. "Oh, okay. Thank you Roma." Ibinaba niya ang phone na nakalukot ang mukha.

After that moment, he tried to go back to his work, and left his unusual thoughts.

Jc's back at her office, she's happy about what just happened. After seeing Mike for a long years, isa lang ang naisip niya... matagal na niya itong napatawad. Hindi ang niya natanggap sa kanyang sarili na may pagkakamali rin siya rito at sa kanilang relasyon noon. Mas naging magaan ang pakiramdam niya dahil nagkaroon na sila ng closure. She wants to be still friends with him. They started as a good friends, kaya kahit man lang ang kanilang pagkakaibigan ay maisalba nila. But at some point, she's disappointed, She can't believe that her dad was involved of what happened. Hindi niya alam ngayon kung kukumprontahin ba niya ang dad niya o ano. She's in the middle of thinking when her phone beeps. She checked.

"You're still with him?" A message from Ian

She responded immediately. "I'm at my office now." Nakalimutan niya itong tawagan

Mga ilang minuto ang nakakaraan ay wala siyang natanggap na reply mula rito. She decided to call him. After a few rings ay hindi pa rin niya ito sinasagot. She dialed it again...

Ian's at the conference room together with some of his board members. Bago nag umpisa ang kanilang diskusyon, he texted Jc, asked if she's still with his ex. Nakatangap naman siya agad ng reply, he felt relieved. He put his phone on the table because they're about to start. Hindi na niya napansin ang reply ni Jc sa kanya. They're busy discussing about their expansion at Europe when he saw his phone ringing. He switch it to silent mode the earlier para hindi makadistorbo. It's Jc. Nagdadalawang isip siyang sagutin ito, nasa kalagitnaan kasi sila ng argumento ng kanyang isang member. He missed the call. Then after a while, napansin na naman niya ito. He decided to take the call.

"Excuse me gentlemen, i just have to take the call. It's important." He said as he went out the office.

As soon as he got out, he answered the call.

"Hey Heart, I'm sorry i missed your first call, I'm with the board kasi, we're having a meeting." He explained immediately.

At the other side...

"Oh, I'm sorry. I did not know. di ka na kasi sumagot. Naka disturb pala ako. " Wika ni Jc

Napasmile si Ian. "I'll just fetch you later heart, i have to go back inside na. Okay?" Paalam niya rito

"Yeah, okay then. Bye." sabi niya rito at ibinaba na niya ang phone.

When Ian went inside. The men were still busy talking. Mr. Garcia faced Ian.
