We arrived at my moms house for awhile. She greeted Jim with kisses it was still a little weird to me seeing them dating but it was cool. I loved Jim. Jesse greeted us happily. No one spoke of what happen back in LA. We didnt wanna get my mom so worked up. We had a chill family dinner and some tv time than everyone left to there own homes to be with there loved ones.
**Dustins POV**
I was out of breathe. Running. The cold mist of morning hit my face fast. I stopped at least 3 times making sure I wasn't followed anymore. Damn. I sighed. I arrived to my moms house quicker than I assumed. I guess when your running for your life you run faster than fast. I got in the house still peaking out the door when someone coughed behind me.
**Jesse's POV**
Dustin was standing at the door , breathing rapidly looking like he seen a ghost. He slowly closed it once he noticed me standing there. "Uh you okay?", I asked looking scared myself. He nodded, "Uh yea man". He looked really unsure. He walked to the kitchen in I followed. "Want something to eat or hell maybe some water?", I laughed at the site of him still breathing hard. He smirked. "I'm cool for now thanks but uh what you doing here I thought you moved?"he asked sitting down, I shook my head "Nah not yet, you know I'm just making good money now so I have to save". He sighed. "Good money huh?". I stared him down reading his body language and his overall facial expressions changed from frown to fright. "Dustin?", I asked sitting across from him handing him a water bottle, "Whats going on and why are you here instead of being home with Loissa in the kids?". He stared in turned away.
** Dustins POV**
"I cant go home yet", I nodded thinking should I lie or tell the truth but then again lying would make the shit worse . Jesse stared me down, "Why not?", he asked with a concerned look. I sighed big time rubbing my face, "Me and Loissa saved up $3,000 to plan in buy for Jaydens Birthday party in 3days..she gave me the money in check form so it wasn't too much to hold onto too, I went yesterday to go shop, but I knew I could win more, I just knew it, but I lost it all". Jesse looked at me confused face. "What you mean you lost the check somewhere?" he asked, I sighed, "Nah I gambled in lost". He jumped up, "What the hell Dustin..you blew all Jay Jays Birthday money!!". I shushed him to shut up. "Damn why don't you say it louder so my parents can find out", I rolled my eyes and he gave me the blank face. He sighed in my face went from sad to plan embarrassment. In I was the one to give this whole speech back at our interview. Damn what kind of father was I now.
