Chapter 2 - Already?!

Leigh's POV:

This is a disaster. We've been in America for about 3 hours and already our old Villa was doubled booked, and now we can't even find the key to our new Villa.

" Pez?! Where did you have it last?" Asks Jesy, fumbling through her handbag to check whether she may have picked them up.

Perrie shakes her head and starts throwing the contents of her purse onto the floor.

" Okay! It's not in me bag! I don't know where it is" Moans Perrie with a sigh.

Jade looks up at the boiling hot sun before looking back down at the rest of us.

" Bloody hell. It's hot"

I laugh,
" Well to be honest Jade, who wears a parka in Florida?"

Jade frowns and looks at her parka for a moment,
" This isn't about the parka now we have bigger problems to sort out".

" Whatever you say Kenny" Says Perrie in a rushed tone, putting her belongings back in her purse.

I check my phone. It is so hot. Way hotter than back home in the U.K. All any of us want to do right now is unpack, hit the town and eat frozen yogurt.

" Are you sure you haven't seen it Jade? " Asks Perrie sounding very stressed out.

" Why aye!!! I've said about 4 times Pez!!" Jade adds before slumping to the floor.

" Ok! That's it I'm calling someone!" Declares Jesy pulling her phone out.

We stand for about 10 minutes listening to the hold music before a man picks up on the other end of the line.

" Hey, yeah we have a problem.... we can't find the-"

" Wait! Guess what I've founndddd" Smiles Jade cheerfully waving a key card in our faces.

Jesy's face falls but then she just starts laughing.
" I'm sorry. We've found them. Thank you anyways".

Jade turns towards the gates of the villa complex and swipes the card against the scanner, highly amused by the beeping sound and the fancy gates that open before our very eyes.

" What are ya waiting for!? Come on!" Cries Jade in all her glory.

We follow Jade who has clearly got some form of sunstroke due to wearing that silly parka all day.

" What's the number poopey?" Asks Pez who has now returned to her natural happy self.

Jade pulls the card out of the back pocket of her jeans and inspects it before turning around and going "23".

Jesy's POV:

" Come on then girlies! We're on the 20's now so it should be here somewhere" I say scanning the rows of villas.

That's when I see it. Villa number 23. I walk up to it and gawp in awe at how magnificent it looks.

Jade unlocks the door and we walk in, relieved to be hit by the air conditioning which was running, ready for us.

" Ahhhh" Breathes Leigh before dumping her belongings on the floor.

In the lounge there is a huge sofa, which looks onto a flat-screen TV, with a glass coffee table placed in the middle.

Then there is the cutest little kitchen. Outside there is a pool and a jacuzzi facing out to what only can be described as something that looks like a desert.....but still.

" I don't know about you three, but that pool is calling my name and I'm getting in it" Smiles Perrie enthusiastically propping a pair of round glasses onto her face.

" Yeah I agree" I chip in, looking at the crystal waters of the pool.

The phone calls all of a sudden and Leigh instantly reaches out to pick it up.

" Hello! Leigh-Anne speaking!" She chirps down the phone.

" Yep. Yes it's really lovely. Oh? That's no problem at all. Honestly! Yeah. Well thanks for calling! Bye!"

Leigh puts the phone down and starts taking her stuff up the stairs.

" Leigh? What was that about?" Asks Perrie going to follow her.

" Oh nothing major. Just a few Aussie boys are moving in next door for a month or so" Responds Leigh.

" Well they better be quiet. I'm here to relax, not to be kept up all night by a bunch of Australian party animals" I groan walking up the stairs.

Jade laughs at me and follows behind me, " As if you have a problem with partying, you'll be joining in" .

" Ha! As I've said before Jade dear, silence is what I value. If anything it'll be you and Leigh-Leigh downing the jager bombs" I shoot back with a smirk.

There are four bedrooms upstairs, with an ensuite bathroom per room. There are two rooms up the first flight and up the second flight there are another pair of rooms.

" We're gonna have to pair up! Who wants floor one and who wants floor two?" Asks Perrie as we all stop to discuss.

Jade launches her hand up.
" I'm with Pez. It'll be like when we used to be in our flat together!"

Perrie shudders,
" Oh Jade, don't bring it up. That place was practically haunted".

Jade folds her arms and looks at Perrie sternly,
" Well you can't complain, it was my room that was paranormal, not your room".

" Okay, okay. Come on then" Says Perrie heading up the stairs to the rooms up above.

I turn around to Leigh,
" Well I guess we're sharing this floor Leigh-Leigh" .

Leigh picks the room on the left so I head into the one on the right. It was pitch black.

"Bloody hell. It's dark in here" I say with a laugh, pulling the curtains apart to let some light in.

I put my bags aside and start to unpack my clothes into the cupboard.

After about an hour of unpacking we are all finally finished.

" Come on girls! We have a few hours to kill, so how about we go and get some dinner" Leigh smiles picking up her handbag.

" Yeah that's a good idea" I add.

" This is amazing, it means we can finally get some fro-yo whilst we're at it" Says Perrie heading towards the door.

Then we step back out into the hot American air and shut the door behind me.
