Leigh's POV:

" So you got the call then?" I say down the phone.

" Yep. I wish they could have given us a week to chill out though rather than a business meeting already" Sighs Perrie down the phone.

" Well, we gotta do what we gotta do I guess. I'll see you later Pez!" I chirp optimistically down the phone.

" Bye babe!" Responds Perrie cutting the line dead.

I lock my phone and place it into my handbag before leaving my apartment and heading off to my car.

I have no idea what today is about at all, I was peacefully sleeping and then at 6am I got a call saying that the management want to talk to us about something important.

Obviously I wasn't too impressed that I had to pick up a business call at six in the morning but I guess I have to just go with it.

I pull my keys from my back pocket and unlock my car, before getting inside it and starting the engine.

"Where am I even going?" I mumble to myself as I leave the carpark.

I imagine it's just the record label. I didn't ask this morning and whoever was on the end of the line didn't tell me either, so I'm going to have to guess.

Ironically, as I drive down the busy stretch of road, I hear a beep behind me from another car.

At first I don't know who it is, but peering through my wing mirror I can tell that it is Jesy, who is smiling all enthusiastically as if she's not seen me in months.

I drive for about twenty minutes before we finally make it to the record label.

" You guessed too then about where we're meant to be?" I laugh as I step from my car.

Jesy shakes her head,
" Actually no, I had no idea where I was going. So I decided it'd be a wise idea to follow you"

Well, it's good to know that Jesy believes that I know what I'm doing.

Once we make it outside of the record label, we are instantly joined by really large man in a black suit.

" Just stay by me, the fan turn out is big today" He shouts loudly, even though not many have turned up yet.

I can't help but laugh when we get through the main doors, because there were literally no fans there at all.

However, they don't know we're coming today, so I imagine that's probably why.

" So the meeting is on the third floor in a room to the left" Smiles the bodyguard before hurrying away down a corridor.

Jesy and I wait for the elevator to come down, and we are greeted by Jade and Perrie, who are looking rather agitated.

Before they can say a word we walk in and the door shuts behind us.

" Well, thank god you're here!" Says Perrie sounding a bit flustered.

" We've been going up and down in this thing for half an hour with no idea where we're going" Adds Jade, also relieved at the sight of Jesy and I.

Jade's POV:

Trust Perrie and I to end up staying in a life for half an hour out of sheer confusion.

The lift stops on the third floor, and we follow Leigh-Anne to the room where she got told we have to go to.

When we get outside the door none of us know if we're in the right place.

" Let's see then" Murmurs Perrie to herself, who then looks through the tiny glass window in the door.

" Well, there's about ten people, a massive table and a big board with writing on it" Says Perrie, questioning whether we've got the right place.

That's definitely our indication to enter. Well, according to Leigh who practically throws the door open without a care in the world.

" What? You wanted to wait and find out?" Asks Leigh, turning back around  to face us.

Perrie, Jesy and I exchange looks before we follow Leigh and walk in.

"Ah ladies! Glad you found the right room, please take a seat, join us" Beams a rather cheerful woman in a sophisticated suit.

We listen to what she says and join her and a group of intimidating business people round the table.

" How are you now that you're back in the UK?" She asks with a smile.

I shrug,
" Yeah we've been good. Glad to be home"

" Well that's great! Basically, we called you here today to discuss a new business idea" She adds, sounding a bit more serious now that she's cut to the chase.

The girls and I exchange curious looks as we have no idea what this could be about. We didn't release an album too long back, and we've just finished a tour.

" It involves another band. Five Seconds of Summer, we've heard you know them pretty well, am I right?" She asks, placing some photos of us at Disney World on the table.

" We, yeah, we sort of bonded over summer" Says Leigh hastily, not wanting to agree to anything until we know what's going on.

" The management of Five Seconds of Summer have contacted us over the possibility of a collaboration" Says a man beside her.

A collaboration?

" What? Like, a song?" Asks Perrie curiously.

The woman nods.

Part of me feels like this would be a terrible idea, as Five Seconds of Summer and Little Mix are very different bands.

Our style of music are completely different, and our lyrics would probably contrast with the lyrics of 5SOS.

" But they're all rocky, and play guitars. Aren't we a little different to be collaborating?" Asks Jesy quietly.

" It's just an idea. We're going to be holding another meeting about it in about three days. We'll contact you the night before" Says the man giving us a phone number on a slip of paper.

Perrie takes the paper and slips it into her back pocket.

" See you in a few days then" Smiles Leigh, as we make our way out of the meeting room and into the hall.
