Chapter 43 - Imagine

* Four Days Later *

Luke's POV:

" Are you kidding me?" I groan tiredly in my chair.

A man in a suit across from me shakes his head.

" Listen, we know you've just got back from America, but we feel this would be a great opportunity for you" Says the man putting his hands together across the table.

I turn to my left and the expression on Ashton's face tells me that he agrees with me, and that this is completely ridiculous.

" So, you want us to fly over to England? Why?" Asks Michael, completely confused.

" You boys have gained so much publicity over the past few weeks, and so have Little Mix. Do you know what this could lead to?" Says the man, who is clearly incredibly confident.

I shake my head,
" Complete and utter disaster?"

He stands from the chair and walks over to a white board in the corner of the room and pulls out a stick and starts pointing at the board.

" Listen, 5 Seconds of Summer, Little Mix, two of the world's most famous groups at this moment in time right?"

We nod slowly, trying not to look like we're bragging or agreeing with his statement.

" Well imagine....a supergroup. 5 Seconds Of Little Mix" He beams.

I choke on my water and try to contain myself.

" Are you kidding me?" Asks Calum, finding the whole idea completely insane.

" No! Think about it, we're not saying you join forces as a band, but a tour together would make a fortune!" Says a woman enthusiastically who is sat beside the man in a suit.

Ashton shrugs,
" Yeah, but we're not about the money. We're about the music"

Ashton is completely right. Another reason why that's a terrible idea is because our music styles are completely different. Plus not all our fans like Little Mix, and not all of Little Mix's fans like us.

" Listen. You signed a contract with us okay? We can drop you from the label whenever we'd like. The Little Mix-5SOS gate was so popular" Says the man sitting back down at the table.

I hold my hands up in the air,
" Fine. We'll go to the meeting in England, but that doesn't mean we're signing up for anything"

" What do you guys think?" Asks Ashton once we're back at my house.

Calum shakes his head,
" I don't know. How the heck are we gonna pull it off"

It's not even just how we feel about it, it's about how the girls feel about it too. I'm sure a tour with us is the last thing on their minds.

" Do they even know any of our songs?" Asks Michael.

Ashton shakes his head,
" No idea. Surely they don't expect us to dance along to black magic though"

HOW THE HELL WOULD THAT EVEN WORK?! We'd look like complete idiots if we started strutting around the stage to black magic.

" Okay....we need to seriously think this over guys...." I say quietly, pulling out beer from my fridge.

Ashton's POV:

I'd say we spent about half an hour actually talking through the whole Little Mix situation before we just used the topic as an excuse to pull the beers out.

" Guys....this is like our fourth now... I'm really f*cking tired" Smirks Calum, who crashes onto Luke's sofa.

" You're such a lightweight. Seriously though, lets get back to business" Says Luke, putting his bottle on the coffee table.

We spend a few minutes making a list on why the tour would be such a terrible idea.

" Oh another one. Jade hates my guts" Adds Luke suddenly.

I shake my head,
" She doesn't hate you...you just both have your difficulties a lot"

Difficulties. That's a word to describe it. I'd say most of the arguments whilst we were in Florida were somehow fixated on Luke and Jade.

" Are you kidding....I tried to speak to her the other night and she shrugged me right off" Grumbles Luke to himself.

If I didn't know any better I'd say Luke still has a small crush on Jade. It doesn't bother me really though.

I mean, he was crazy about her during the first week we spent with them, and she is really beautiful.

Looking back now, it was quite insensitive of me to even consider dating her when I knew my best friend had feelings for her.

" Anyways, off the topic of Jade. What about Perrie....is it going to be awkward for you seeing her everyday?" Asks Michael lifting up his head.

Luke raises his eyebrow,
" Why would it be awkward?"

Michael rolls his eyes,
" Come on. We all know you and Perrie got intimate in the bathroom of that RV. What's the score with her?"

Luke hesitates for a moment,
" Uh....yeah. We decided it was for the best to call off whatever we had going on. I think it was just because we were bored and there at the time"

Well, at least he's being blunt with it. I don't recall Perrie or Luke ever having some sort of affair going on, but then Calum tells me it was when I was losing the will to live over my sight.

Nice to know they were both supporting me when I was potentially going blind.

" Alright. I'm... off now guys. I'm tired and I need...to get in my bed" Yawns Calum, stumbling from the sofa.

Luke stands up quickly and walks towards Calum.
" Not in your state mate, you can crash in my spare room... you look as if you're gonna pass out"

Calum nods and paces to the other side of the hall before disappearing into Luke's spare room.

" Right. We'll see you tomorrow Luke" I say as Michael and I head towards the front door.

" See you later guys. Be careful out, it's dark" Smiles Luke opening the door for us to let us out.

I nod and with that Michael and I head out into the darkness of the night.

It isn't that far a walk to our houses from Luke's so hopefully we'll be home quickly.

I'm not even kidding there's legit 2/3 chapters left I'm so emotional right now.

I started writing this in like April so I'm so proud of how well this fanfiction has actually gone 😂💗
