Despite the awkward confusion between Sujet, Josh and I, the rest of the day went pretty well. Andy didn't make any more comments for the rest of the day and Mr Sujet didn't call me down again.

As the final bell rang I sighed in content, this disastrous day was finally over!

I walked downstairs along with the mob of students trying to get to their lockers.

Something was bothering me though. I was curious as to who gave Sujet my so called "high algebra marks".

I sucked. It's as simple as that. I knew it, my aunt knew it, my friends knew it, and my teachers most definitely knew it, so why would he think otherwise?

I mean it could have been Andy screwing with me, but what would he get out of claiming that I was adequate in algebra? What was in it for him?

Humiliation on my part for which Andy wasn't even present to see? It didn't make any sense.

Sujet wasn't stupid either, he wouldn't make that kind of mistake, I think? My train of thought was interrupted when I heard Milo's voice.

"Aura, wait up", I shut my locker as I saw Milo from across the hallway.

I smiled. "Hey loser, want a lift home?" He rolled his eyes.

"Aura we both know I'm not a loser, and yea actually I could use a lift, but hold on". I watched as he slid past me and walked up to Hannah Tan.

I tend not to judge people based on what they wear but on what they say, but Hannah was just someone who couldn't hold a conversation that led to something other than sex.

She was Milo's number one play toy. For good reason too. Hannah had long tanned legs and a thin waist. Her golden locks fell just above her waist, and her coco completion was perfectly unblemished. She had large blue eyes and thick lips. She was pretty, really pretty but I couldn't help but think there was nothing more to her.

I shrugged, whether Hannah wanted more than sex or not, was not my concern. I looked away as I dug into my bag for my keys.

"Milo I'll meet you in the lot, 10 minutes and I'm gone". I said as I walked away looking behind me to confirm he heard.

"Yea yea I won't be late". He said not taking his eyes off Hannah's legs.

Ugh, Guys...

As I pushed the school doors open I was met with blinding sunlight, I groaned slightly irritated.

"Shit are you kidding me? Why the fuck is the sun so bright." I said blocking my eyes.

"Why is your language so corse?" A voice to my right said. My head swiveled to the side as I looked at Grey eyed beauty-er Josh.

"It's how I express myself". I stated skeptically.

"There are other less verbal ways to express yourself". He said leaning on the wall next to the school doors. His one arm was loosely hidden in his pocket while the other pressed on the wall for support. I couldn't help but glance as his muscles they were big, but I wasn't impressed.

Okay maybe I was, but I wasn't gonna show it.

"Yea well I prefer verbal communication, physical expression isn't always the best thing. Especially when it can land you in detention for two weeks."

"Who ever said anything about physical altercations? I was going to say paint something or play some sports. Your very violent for someone really small, almost like a...munchkin". I scowled I wasn't tiny. I was 5'6 which was taller than most of the girls in my grade.

"I'm not tiny your just a giant, you should lay off the steroids". I said walking away. So what if he was 6'1 it was only a few inches taller than me, and so what if he towered over me, he was freakishly tall.

"I don't take steroids or any other type of drugs, that stuff is not safe and drugs are not enjoyable". I stopped walking and turned to look at him.

"So you admit, that you've tried them before". He ran his hands through his hair and scoffed.

"It's ok we all have our dirty little secrets. I just didn't expect to learn yours so quickly".

He looked at me, stared at me for a long moment before he reached over and put his hand on my arm making my heart immodestly beat 10 times fast.

My breath hitched asI froze and he slowly inched closer.

Was he going to kiss me? I didn't even know him. I did NOT want my first kiss to be with some random guy I didn't even know.

"You know my secret, and now I'm dying to know yours", he whispered in my ear.

"See you around...Munchkin". He laughed as he moved away and walked away disappearing around the corner of the school.

I exhaled, and shook my head. My heart was still beating like crazy, and Milo still hadn't come out.

And what was with the Munchkin thing? Was he fucking kidding me? He was only 3 inches taller than me. That wasn't a world of a difference.

Something about him really irritated me. Maybe it was him shamelessly checking me out the first time we met, or maybe it was the weird effect he had on me. All I knew was he was number one on my avoid list, and he wouldn't be moving anytime soon.

"AURA I'm here, and with only 3 minutes to spare, how good am I". Milo screeched, suddenly appearing beside me. I jumped and moved away from him trying to calm my erratic heartbeat.

"What? What's wrong? I wasn't late!" Milo stared at me and shook my arm.

"Aura are you okay? Did I seriously piss you off?" Milo's face changed to one of concern.

"I'm fine, and no I'm not pissed...just surprised." I pulled at my hair.

"You have to pay for gas, I'm almost out". I said unlocking my car. He owed me one from the last time I drove his sorry ass home. He was drunk and because of that I had spent my Sunday night cleaning his puke off my backseat.

"Oh come on I only have a 20 and that's for my date tonight".

"If you were going to take a girl out with only 20 dollars in your pocket I'm afraid you should call it quits now, trust me. Come on Milo hand it over". I said as I reached out and put my hand Infront of him, waiting for the 20.

Milo threw his hands in the air exasperated. "Fine, take it take it all. Take my dignity while your at it, that only cost 20 aswell". I laughed as I shook my head and took the money.

"Milo your too much". I said as we strapped our seat belts on. Milo groaned as I pulled out of the parking lot. Hey he owed me anyways.

He looked out the window as I turned the radio on and smiled.

He didn't notice, typical Milo.

My tank was already full.
