TAKING RESPONSIBILITY

In this section of the story we focus on the situation of Ricky and his family life that has been torn apart because of his affair with Tamara.  The situation hasn't gotten easy after leaving Geoff's with Jack and Omar they all got into an argument because both Jack, and Ricky had to admit that it was Ben that in a way calmed Adrian down.  Ricky begins to regret telling Omar how he and Adrian used to sleep around a lot when they were together.  Jack and Omar get into an argument when Jack informs him that it was Adrian that also took his virginity.  Omar is upset because even though he knows about Adrian's past he never really wanted to admit about his wife's sexual tendencies.  He did this because he didn't want to be compared to any of the men she slept with, and also because his sex life with Adrian had begun to lose it's luster.

Ricky and they then part ways and he goes home.  Since Ben had him evicted him from the butcher shop he found a new place in the pool house behind Kathleen and George.  They let him live there at no cost.  Tom had moved out three years ago into his own apartment next door to Jack and Madison.  Jack was delighted to have Tom so close since he believed Tom was literally his best friend.  Some would think that it was Ricky, but deep down Jack didn't really rely on Ricky for much . Tom on the other hand was honest, loyal, kind, protective, understanding, and probably the wisest adult Jack had ever known. 

It was actually Tom that told Jack to get back with Madison, and stop pining after Grace.  Tom helped him see that his sister was never going to be ready for a relationship with anyone, not even him.   Tom thought she lost something when there Dad died, but she didn't know what it was.  Madison on the other hand understood Jack, and really cared about him.  Tom told him that, "a gurl like dat doesn't wait fowever".   Jack had to agree and when Madison came back to California to be a reporter at the local news station he resumed his relationship with her.  Three years later they were married. Grace wasn't in attendance she once again went to Africa, to see Jacob or so she claimed.  Jack was a bit disappointed she missed the wedding Madison was not.  Grace also missed the birth of his daughter Veronica (named after Madison's mom).  In time he realized that Grace didn't want to even be his friend.  This disappointed him, but he accepted it.  He even thought it was a good thing, because he never believed he could just be friends with Grace.  They had tried that and it didn't work well.

As Ricky sat in the pool house he received a message from Adams-McDaniel's Medical and Technology Center in his email.  In the email Ricky discovered that after several test, on both skin, blood, saliva, and hair that he was the father of Tamara's son Kevin.  This news devastated Ricky, because it meant that his marriage to Amy was over.  No matter how hard he tried to think of something to resolve the situation, he could think of nothing.  Amy couldn't forgive Ben for being the father of Adrian's baby, and he literally did everything for her.  He on the other hand betrayed their marriage, her trust, and the very forgiveness Amy gave him for getting her pregnant, and taking her virginity the way he did.  He knew that Amy would never, could never accept a child of another woman even if it was his. 

AN: I decided not to tell this part of the story since I know how sensitive many Ricky/Amy fans are about Ricky being with anyone other than Amy. 

 Ricky sat down on his bed and thought back to the horrible day that caused it all to happen.Amy treated Ricky worse than she treated Ben when she was pregnant on the second term.  Ricky was being harassed at work by his co-workers, with Chloe leading them.  He also had problems with the accounts he was managing, because they spoke different languages.  Even though a new App allowed the translations of languages through the phone, many of the people he spoke with found it offensive.  They were old school business owners who believed if you wished to do foreign business you should speak foreign language.
