Acting C.E.O. of Boykewich Int.

Ben has been trying desperately for the past five days to find transportation to get back home to Montana. He thought that he had planned everything very carefully, and didn't leave anything to chance when he flew back to California. He even made sure that before he gave his travel card to Margo that he had prepared a contingency plan to return home for Christmas by buying another plane ticket for December 21, at 3:00 PM. He also had a plane and bus ticket just in case the flight might be delayed. He even checked for all scheduled fairy, and boat cruises near the area, to make sure he left nothing to chance, but that was useless. He thought he had covered every base, but he left one base unchecked, perhaps three. Mother Nature, Fate, and his bad luck with Glenn Valley California.

A snow storm which was believed to be small at the beginning of December 18, and would be gone that day had grown, not only had it grown it merged with three other snow storms and was now a full fledged blizzard that was enveloping most of Montana. Ben had spent the past two days looking for ways in to the state, as well as ways out, and checking on his family, but nothing was available. His family assure him they were all okay they had been through worse weather, and had learned from each event, on how to better prepare for the next. This new storm was just another learning experience for them. All citizens were evacuated to shelters, and told to stay in doors and wait until the storm ended, before taking on any travel plans. This meant he would be spending Christmas alone.

Zoe: Ben you have the pilot Capt. Forester on line 1.

Ben: Thank you. Captain, well can you get me in.

Forester: I'm sorry Mr. Helen, but the moment I sent in the flight plan we were automatically grounded by Air Traffic Control. There are no flights even allowed to circle near the rim of the Montana for fear the storm will either throw them off course or pull them in. I tried to see if we can get you into a neighboring territory, but all flights have been ordered to avoid that state and stay within 200 Miles of the perimeter. The National Weather Administration are calling the Storm of the Decade, and that is only because they are waiting to see how long it last's before calling it the storm of the Century.

Ben: Are you sure there is nothing else you can do.

Forester: No, I'm afraid we are permanently grounded sir. I'm sorry, I know how badly you wanted to leave.

Ben: Thanks anyway, Captain. Take the rest of the week off and spend it with your family.

Forester: Are you sure sir.

Ben: Just because I can't be with my loved ones doesn't mean you shouldn't be with yours. Merry Christmas.

Forester: Thank you Mr. Helen and I'm sorry, but Merry Christmas to you as well.

Ben: (hangs up the phone and grabs his necklace with his rings, sad and angry) Why! Why does this have to happen now, I knew I shouldn't have come back here.

KNOCK KNOCK. Zoe stood in his door way looking worried at how her boss was acting.

Zoe: Sorry to interrupt you Ben, but you have to approve the budget for the "CHRISTMAS PARTY" tomorrow.

Ben: It's okay Zoe, sorry you had to see me go crazy like that.

Zoe: It's okay Ben, at least you don't throw and break things like I do when I'm frustrated.

Ben: Really, you get that angry?

Zoe: Let's just say I'm on my fourth TV right now. (this makes Ben laugh and smile which pleases Zoe her boss has very nice smile)
