Everyone became settled as Ben, Vincent, and 3-Jay huddled up to discuss what they would sing.  They had prepared earlier to do songs, but only as a group of five, unfortunately their back ups were missing.  Karen wasn't worried she heard Madison sing, and was preparing to work alone if need be to maintain her title as the Song Sovereign that she had held for the past five years.  3-Jay would be a fool to think she would lose her title to him just because she didn't have her original group with her.  In her own practicality Madison was far better to have on her side than Gram, and she could only hope Lauren could give her what Serena gave her last year when she joined their fold.

Karen: Alright girls I think we should go and discuss our musical attributes in private, otherwise some people may still our songs.

3-Jay: Hey I didn't steal that song, it was selected at random.

Karen: Until I know for sure, I will always have my doubts.

Vincent: Karen, you still won.  Does it even matter.

Karen: It's the principal, Vincent.

The Girls separate from them while Ben, Vincent, and 3-Jay discuss what to sing leaving, Ethan, Chloe, Ashley, Jack, Sarah, Zoe, and Veronica waiting.

Zoe: So how long has this been going on Sarah.

Sarah: Since the beginning of time.  Daddy says Aunt Karen, and Uncle 3-Jay really want to be the Song Sovereign.

Jack: Song Sovereign?  What's that.

Sarah: It's the title given to the best singer.  (covers her mouth her lisp came out)

Ashley: Sarah, don't do that.  You never have to cover your mouth.  Your lisp is nothing to feel bad about.

Sarah: (uses sign) Okay, Aunt Ashley.  (speaks) Thank you.

Jack: (see's the sign and becomes suspicious but keeps quiet)  She's right Sarah, look at me I've had this scar on the side of my face since I was seven, and I've always been proud of it.

Chloe: I always wanted to ask how did that happen Jack.

Jack: When I was younger my Dad, my real Dad, was sick because of his cancer, and he didn't really have the energy to teach me to ride a bike.  I swore to learn to show him and make him proud.  One day I took off my training wheels and tried to ride, I was doing good then I forgot I lived on a hill.  I rode super fast down an incline and crashed into a tree.  I would have had a concussion, but my Dad always said wear a helmet because men don't have enough brains so we have to protect what we got.  However I did get this (points at his scar) to teach me a lesson.  My mom went crazy when she found me, but my Dad saw the crash, and he saw me crying, and why.  He just wiped away the blood took me to the hospital, and after I got fixed up with eight stitches we went home.  The next day he woke me up, and showed me how he fixed my bike, he must have worked all night on it.  Then we went out and he taught me how to ride my bike all that day.  I knew he was still sick, and weak from the chemo, but he didn't let it show.  By the end of the weekend I was riding on two wheels faster than any kid in the neighborhood.  It was one of the happiest memories I have of him, and one of the last.  He died three weeks later.  This scar reminds me every day of the best weekend of my life.

Clementine: I know the feeling, I have this scar (shows burn on her wrist) from when my mom taught me how to cook.  I never became a good cook, but this burn still reminds me I should try. Does anyone else have any scars to remind them of their parents.
