MERRY CHRISTMAS MY LOVES

Christmas morning went on without a hitch for all of the Christmas, Omar gave Adrian a set of diamond ear rings for Christmas, and she got him a brand new wallet with his initials.  Madison received the cashmere scarf from Macy's she wanted while their daughter got a brand new walker.  Jack got an autographed card of Joe Montana from Madison, (he didn't have the heart to tell her it was fake).  Grace got Grant a brand new stethoscope, and he got her a new briefcase.  Ricky received a similar briefcase from Amy, and she got a carry bag from him.  Henry recieved a new razor from Alice, and she got a golden chain with gold Dog Tags from Henry with the inscription MY  ONE & ONLY LOVE.

Ben didn't open any of the gifts they got for him, but Leo got an I.D. medical chain from Camille, and an eloquent watch with hidden slots that could hold his pills from Chloe, it also had an alarm that would beep when it was time to take his medication. Chloe received a charm bracelet from her parents, from Ben she got a music box w.  Inside were beautiful pieces of  hand made jewelry.  One article for each year he had been missing aside form the box itself.  Camille received the same gift  from Ben with the same articles of jewelry.  From Leo she got a ruby broach to match the ear rings she got from him the year before.   Both were very happy with their gifts from both of them.   Leo  got a set of golf clubs, each club was very well built and according to Ben hand made from recycled steel and monogrammed with the symbol of a bear made from the same artist friend.  Leo was marveled at the excellent balance each club had from the driver,  to the putter.  He had never felt a grip that actually matched up with his hand.  Ben let him know that the person that did it molded each one from his own hand and did guess work from pictures of his hand on his commercials to get the size down.  

Leo thanked Ben because after swinging one he felt the tension he usually felt from swinging missing.  Karen let him know that the clubs were made by a family of old school craftsman that lived in their area, and everything they did was hand made.  Every member of their family from her great grandfather to Sarah had their saddles made by them.

Camille: Saddles.

Ben: Yeah, we live in Montana so horse riding is part of the area.

Sarah: We have the best horses in the world.

Chloe: HORSES!!!

Ben: Yeah, we live on a horse ranch.  Did I forget to mention that?

Chloe: Among other things.

Ben: Well it's just a small place.

Karen: Small, excuse me......... (looks at Ben with scorn)

Ben: Well it's smaller now.

Chloe: Okay, can someone explain.

Ben: Originally the ranch was one of the largest in Montana, and it was under a protectorate from the government.  However after my wife's death I donated the land to become an animal sanctuary to give local animals that are from Montana and the U.S. that can survive in the area a place to thrive.  It also serves as a Zoology site to discover whether or not animals that have been held in captivity can be rehabilitated to living back in the wild.  This way zoo animals can live free if they are released.

Leo: Ben that's amazing, did you think of that.

Ben: NO, I didn't Claire thought of it.

Karen: Don't be so modest Fenrir.  It also serves as a retirement center for horses and other animals that used to be in entertainment.  Like horses from racing, circuses, and other places.  That way they don't just end up glue, or dog food.  Claire thought of it, but Ben was the one who helped set the plan into motion.  He even named it after Claire.  He calls it the CLARITY Project.  To help people see the world and animals clearly.  He did it to honor my sister's memory.
